TAEJAVU'S ON MAIN — Restaurant in Racine

So I'm extremely upset spent 61 dollars for dinner last night from them. I ordered theough door dash. Grantes i ordered to late like 10 min before the cut off for door dash. My dasher got to the store at 9:05pm 5 min after they were said to close on google. I felt bad but since they only opened at 5pm figured they wouldnt be to upset. Except my fries on all my dishes weren't even cooked. The literally only had oil on them. I ordered the loaded fries. Didnt realize i had to choose what it was loaded with i assumed it was just if i wanted extra of a certain topping. Cuz i got the loaded fries before and it already came with crab meat. But nope not this time just white fries in oil. Super disappointed i dont have alot of money to be wasting for take out. So this was super disgusting we had to cook our fries ourselves and put chicken on top or it would've been miserable. Cost 12 dollars for uncooked...

Came in with my husband because we wanted to try something new and I love southern/creole food. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, we should have gotten 2 orders of them so I could have an order to myself. We just had our honeymoon in the Caribbean this winter and the rum punch definitely tasted authentic. I had the crab leg boil for dinner and everything was cooked perfectly, soft potatoes, juicy corn, and meaty crab. I wish there was a small bucket for the shells though. My husband got the wings and though they were on the smaller side, there were a lot of them and he said the meat and flavor was good. The team was all very kind and polite. Ambiance could use some cool paintings on the walls, but they may be working on that because I did see some hooks up. Will definitely either go here or order again, lots more to try! The catfish po boy and gator...

Service was good. The were out of the fried pickles we ordered so we got loaded fries instead. The food was all disappointing though. My wife's Cajun chicken and shrimp Alfredo was mediocre, my chicken poboy tasted alright but I couldn't eat the roll it came on cuz it was rock hard.

The only reason I am writing a review is because there were two significantly size bones in the soul roll I ordered that I nearly broke my teeth on. I thought it was just a hard piece of pasta from the Mac n cheese so I tried crunching it and had a pain in my jaw.

Overall it was not a terrible experience but the quality and quantity of food was not worth the price and we will not order again.
