I truly wish I could give this place a better review, however after going there for dinner recently, I simply cannot.

I’ve recently moved back from Minnesota and have been taking time to try out new restaurants in Racine. Being a waiter myself, it shocked me that a place like this had poor service. My group waited over an hour to receive our food. While we waited, the waitress came out on three separate occasions to notify my friends that the food they had ordered was out. Also, the waitress hardly checked on us during the 1+ hour wait.

As our food was being brought out, we were told that some of the sides were also out and had to choose something different on the spot. As one of my friends was eating their chicken, they found hair in their food. Once we were done eating, we were told that the checks couldn’t be split and that it would have to be paid for together (despite us telling the waitress that the checks were to be split before we began ordering). We ended up waiting a long time for our check and didn’t receive an itemized receipt. It took me going up to the waitress to ask for an itemized receipt and was told that I could not keep it due to not having an additional copy.

The food overall was good despite the hair in the food. Again, I truly wish I could’ve left a better review but after my negative experience I cannot. I will not be back which is most unfortunate because I am big fan...

Came to this restaurant looking to try something different. In the end we left and went to try out a different downtown restaurant. Staff was aware when we entered as we had to approach the bar to ask if we would be seated or if it was self seating as there were no signs around or a hostess booth to direct us otherwise. We sat down to be given a menu. 10minutes had passed and still no water, no server, nothing. As I scanned the other guests that were seated I met eyes with another patron that looked just as irritated as I was feeling. They too had menus still sitting in front of them with no water and no signs of service. In total there were three tables that I could visually see that had not been tended to and these were all tables that had already been seated when we arrived. Custimer service doesn't seem to be a considered factor. As a local that tries to always promote local businesses this was an unfortunate experience i choose...

When you plan to go to a new Greek restaurant recommended by Greek friends that have cooked for you for over 40 years, you trust the food will be great. We started with Saganaki (flaming cheese), the Meze platter with hummus so creamy you thought you died and went to heaven, Greek salad and Avgolemono soup (lemon soup). Delicious....every single one. We thought to sample and share a few entrees. So, we ordered the Oven Roasted Chicken, the Lamp Chops and the Mousaka (cheesy baked dish with ground beef and eggplant). They were spiced perfectly and delicious. We finished with Rice Pudding as we were too full for anything more.. It was a great finish. The atmosphere and staff made you feel like you were transported to Greece and having a home-cooked meal with family and reasonably priced too. Wishing Pauly and family much success as this is truly authentic, homemade Greek...

Stopped here on a Saturday for lunch.Cute little place! Very welcoming atmosphere and I loved the decor.Staff was very friendly. My husband ordered the gyro deluxe and I had the Korinthian Pita Wrap with fava .We both chose the greek potato salad as a side .The gyro was huge and my husband said it was the best he has had, he usually complains that gyro meat is salty, kindof greasy ,this meat was not salty nor was it greasy at all. My wrap was amazing. The ingredients were crispy and fresh and everything was paired very well together! The potato salad was fantastic ,the flavor was great. I thought the prices were reasonable and overall it was a great experience. I will totally be back again and support this small local business !

Will not be eating here anymore! "Sorry about that. I'm so glad you are okay." Is what was told to me after explaining to him, I choked on the chicken kabob I ordered for lunch and discovered the piece of screwer! Poor service... hopefully, I don't endure any stomach issues after swallowing the piece of screwer left in my kabob. I spent $36.10 to be exact and go here often. Not anymore after this poor experience. More pics to come in my comments... so be careful while chewing your food. Good luck!
