We dined at Cornerstone Bistro on New Year’s Eve, and despite the holiday rush, we had a fantastic experience. We had 9:15 reservations and arrived early, so we decided to sit at the bar while we waited. Since it was such a busy night, our table wasn’t ready right at our reservation time, but the hostess was absolutely wonderful—she sincerely apologized for the delay and made us feel welcomed and valued. Ultimately, we chose to stay at the bar for dinner, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Our bartender was accommodating, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the evening even more enjoyable. We ordered the steak for two, and it was cooked to perfection—absolutely spectacular. The warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we could have easily stayed for hours. Thank you so much to the owners for creating such a special spot on Wayne Ave. Cornerstone Bistro is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

We've had a busy week here in Wayne, PA! After a few intense days of showing Main Line homes, we've successfully secured the ideal home for our buyer clients from sunny California! 🌞 Celebrations were in order as Brett Furman Group made a whopping $2.2 million in sales this week so we decided to pop open a bottle of champagne at Cornerstone Bistro! Who says summers in real estate have to be slow? We're proving that theory wrong, one successful deal at a time. #RealEstateGoals #SayYesToTheAddress 🏡 #GreatFood

Went there for a birthday dinner with a friend. What a super warm and inviting atmosphere. On a Friday night in Wayne, expect to park and walk to the restaurant. But the owner and head chef were there, as well as Frank, the owner's dad. The crab appetizer had the most delicious dip. And my crab cake was phenomenal!!!!!! What a great dining experience! And they even surprised me with an adorable candle in a complimentary dessert, that was super fun and tasty! Outstanding service!

In a dining landscape often dominated by style over substance, Cornerstone Restaurant in Wayne stands as a testament to what happens when passionate restaurateurs put the focus exactly where it should be: on exceptional food and genuine hospitality.

The Setting Cornerstone's unique layout, with its kitchen-centered design, transforms what could be a simple meal into an immersive culinary experience. From our prime corner position at the bar table, we had front-row seats to the culinary theater unfolding before us. The open kitchen concept here isn't just a trendy design choice – it's an honest window into the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into every dish. Watching the chefs work with precision and passion adds an extra layer of appreciation to each plate that arrives at your table.

Service Excellence The service strikes that perfect balance that so many restaurants strive for but rarely achieve – attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being pretentious. It's clear that owners Nick and Christine have instilled their commitment to hospitality throughout their entire team. Their presence and personal touch elevate the entire experience, making you feel less like a customer and more like a welcomed guest in someone's home.

Culinary Mastery The food at Cornerstone isn't just a meal – it's a showcase of culinary expertise. Having the kitchen as the centerpiece of the restaurant isn't just for show; it allows diners to appreciate the methodical preparation and attention to detail that goes into each dish. The result is food that's not only expertly prepared but served with a side of appreciation for the craft itself.

The Overall Experience What sets Cornerstone apart is how all these elements – the interactive setting, the warm service, and the outstanding cuisine – come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. New Year's Eve, typically a challenging night for restaurants to deliver their best, was handled with the same grace and excellence that appears to be their standard.

Bottom Line Cornerstone represents the best of what local dining can be – a restaurant where the owners' vision and passion translate directly to the guest experience. It's a place where the dedication to craft is visible in every aspect of operation, from the thoughtfully designed space to the carefully prepared dishes. For visitors to Wayne or locals looking for a memorable dining experience, Cornerstone delivers something truly special: a meal that entertains, satisfies, and inspires in equal measure.

This is the rare restaurant where you leave not just satisfied with your meal, but with a deeper appreciation for the art of hospitality and cooking. Nick, Christine, and their team have created something that goes beyond just good food – they've created an experience that reminds us why dining out can...

A delightful experience. The care that is put into sourcing their ingredients, the preparation of the dishes, and the presentation of not only restaurant but also the food- are all elements which create a rich experience. Much like the chefs in the Netflix show Chef's Table, everything is executed with a deliberate purpose, an art --not for pretense.

You should make reservations, but they were kind enough to accommodate me as a walk-in. Very friendly and warm, the staff and chefs were orchestrated within the small space that is the restaurant. All of the diners are seated at a U-shaped counter facing in towards the heart of it all-- the chefs. The whole roasted chickens looked phenomenal, juicy and perfectly browned. However, they did let me know that they were already spoken for. I was served refreshing slightly chilled silky smooth water. I began with a cheese plate with an aged gouda, nut mix, imported honey comb, and fig spread served with toasted bagguetts. I also ordered the lobster bisque. For my entree, I ordered the burger with side salad. Such a exquisite parade of food. The service was never far, repeatedly topping off my water. The side salad dressing was a French vinegarette - so extraordinarily delicious. I can't remember the last time time I had such fresh tasting dressing. I ended with the Nutella cheesecake. Another fantastic choice. I admit I was yearning a bit for an espresso to go with my cheesecake, but I don't think they offer them.

This is a special occasion place. A destination for an experience beyond nurishment. The large wall of windows provides a glimpse outside at the bustling center with commuters coming off the rail and cars carrying people and dogs rushing by, reminding you-- you have come to the right place. Give it a...
