I had a similar experience as another reviewer, but mine is a little different. I am a "loyal" customer to this cafe. I have been here many times in the past month, I have their hole punch "loyalty card" and everything! Anyway...my husband and I took our child to the bagel shop down the street, and we brought our food from over there and sat at an outdoor table next to the train tracks at Mad Anthony's Cafe. My husband was inside getting us coffees and drinks because they have a great selection of beverages. As he was inside ordering, my son and I began to eat our bagels and some lady told me we couldn't eat there because it's not their food, but I told her my husband was inside getting our drinks so technically we are still providing service so I don't see what the problem is! There was absolutely nobody else seated outside of the Cafe, so I'm not really sure why we couldn't sit there regardless. We enjoy watching the trains go by while we eat/drink from the cafe. ...and you want to know the REAL reason why we didn't buy food from them, and went to the bagel shop instead? Last time we ate there (a week prior), they were out of literally EVERYTHING my husband asked for on their food menu! So he had no choice but to eat something he didn't even want. When we paid for the food, we ended up waiting an entire half hour for his sandwich because they forgot to make it!!! When we finally ate, the food wasn't even that great anyway. So really, they should be apologizing to me. That lady had no right to tell us we couldn't eat there when we still paid from their cafe. I also wasn't aware that we couldn't bring food from anywhere at a train station...? It's not very clear what part of the station is public and what belongs to the cafe, so I didn't even realize it would be a problem. Even my 6 year old son was so confused on what the problem even was. I'll have to think again before coming back. Can't wait for my OG cafe to open back up after their...
Read moreI didn't actually invent the internet. I have invented the world's only good augmented intelligence program that puts ideas into a graphic structure. I was showing this off at the cafe in Champaign Urbana that Marc Andriessen had his epiphany on how to make HTML-1 browsers and my structure was first and identical to his. Did he steal it? I realized I had been in cafe's in literally Every city anyone would have been who would have made HTML. TOTAL COINCEDENCE--he had to have been in the same cafe because I've been in ALL OF THEM. That being said, MAD ANTHONY's is one of the best in the entire US. Blue Bottle in Manhattan has better coffee, one of few. On a good day, Brew HA HA of Newark Delaware has a better mouth feel in its Hazelnut Latte. Some Seattle Cafe's are more creative on their latte recipes. BUT Mad Anthony was second in all of these categories and was just plain prettier than any of them. Good pastry,...

I ordered the Banana Foster Latte and the Sausage Egg & Cheese Pannini. They were both delicious. Once done with breakfast I ordered a roadie for the drive back to Valley Forge The Nutella Latte...it was wonderful. My barista was delightful, friendly, efficient and just great at her job. She answered my questions and offered suggestions.
I bought those B&W Cookies, the Beignet's, and the Giant Raspberry Rugelach...Oh...
