sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in Radnor Township

I walked in and the store on May 17 at about 2:00 PM. The store was empty… I was the only customer. There were 3 visible employees all tending to their current tasks. They all saw me but nobody made an effort to welcome me or ask how they could help. After about 5 minutes I finally asked someone what was required to place an order. The employee that answered me firmly told me to wait. I ordered the Chicken Pesto bowl and it was prepared much differently than I recall getting from the King of Prussia mall store. The amount of chicken in the bowl was skimpy at best. In fact, the employees making the salad had to scrape the bottom of the chicken pan to get the last piece of chicken. Goodness knows what else had found its way into that pan before I arrived! A customer should never be given to scrapings of the pan under any circumstances. Also, the person making the bowl never asked if I wanted the dressing tossed into the bowl and took it upon herself to do that. I was going to lodge a complaint in store but there was no manager in sight and I was on a tight schedule. Fortunately I am moving away from the 2 locations near my home and won’t have to deal with this in the future I think the founders should spend more time focusing on quality of service than trying to impress Wall...

Sweetgreen is good! Sweetgreen is a new (to me) fast casual chain restaurant with a healthy lean. I was expecting something along the lines of a SaladWorks when I stopped in with my wife last week. Not at all! (Not that there's anything wrong with SaladWorks, I enjoy that too)... The Sweetgreen menu has interesting dishes that mostly include protein, grain and veggies. I had the Harvest Chicken that came with blackened chicken on a bed of quinoa and kale with baked red and sweet potatoes. It was delicious! Portions are appropriate - filling, but not huge. It's a little spendy IMO, but not terribly out of line for what you're getting. Other options included fish and chicken dishes and various salads. Hello Google Family. This is my first time patronizing a sweetgreen. I decided to come here after working out at the Edge Fitness Club in Wayne, PA. I was very hungry and I knew I wanted a good salad. I also knew that I needed protein and this place has protein. Will, was the associate who assisted me with my order, since it was my first time. Will was very helpful and friendly. I decided to create my order today. I ordered a custom salad, with roasted chicken and three other toppings. I decided on balsamic viniagrette dressing. I liked the dressing and the salad. I selected take out. My order was $16.35. I don't know if I will visit this establishment again, but I did enjoy my salad. Good night Google Family!!
