If you're building a high-end audio system and want someone who actually listens to you before helping you listen to music, I cannor reccomned Ryan Rumer at World Wide Stereo more highly. Every piece of my two-channel setup—from the McIntosh C2800 and MC462 to the Focal Sopra N2s, AudioQuest cables, Niagara 1200, and Bluesound Node—was selected, sourced, and delivered with care, precision, and deep expertise.
This is my Second McIntosh to Focal set up (with Bluesound streamer) and my fourth project with WWS (one was previous home theatre where he came in and wired up a pre-exsiting set up with additional compenents and remote control programming)(one was a gym room set up with TV and SONOS sound sysytem with remote programming).
Ryan didn’t just sell me components. The first two channel sysytem he understod my budget, my needs and my desired sound. He curated a system tailored to my room, my taste, and my long-term vision—without pushing unnecessary gear or upsells. When i loosned my budget his commitmnet to vision remained. His understanding of system synergy (particularly pairing McIntosh warmth with Focal transparency) was spot on, and the service was impeccable from start to finish.
I couldn’t be happier with the results. Clean power, balanced cabling, breathtaking soundstage—it all came together beautifully thanks to his help.
If you’re serious about sound and want a partner in the process, go to World Wide Stereo and ask for Ryan. You’ll be...
Read moreI have worked with WWS and Ron Rumer for more than 8 years, on one large project--construction of our house with extensive specialized wiring to ensure a work friendly environment at home, along with normal run-of-the mill family AV needs that are predominant in our family home. We have continued to use WWS, through Ron, ever since, on maintenance related issues and replacement/upgrade of electronics.
Every encounter we have had with WWS has been superb. Ron worked with us on put together a plan for the house that has worked perfectly over time and has been adaptable as needs change and technology evolves. He is always incredibly responsive, delightful to deal with, and totally professional.
And we have had several members of the larger WWS team working in our house from time to time and all have been excellent and professional.
WWS has a unique business model that provides exactly the type of product and service I have needed at a reasonable cost. We have lived in 3 different large cities over the past 20 years. In terms of service, value for money and reliability, there is no doubt that WWS is many levels above anything I have ever found in our other residential locations.
I am confident that our relationship with WWS will continue...
Read moreI've been a long-time customer of the Montgomeryville location and am excited about your new store opening! World Wide Stereo isn’t just a store; it’s a haven for music lovers. The team has a true passion for audio, and it shows!
Staff are incredible at guiding you without ever pressuring you. Every time I’ve had questions or wanted to hear how a piece of equipment sounds, they’ve been happy to explain or offer a live demo on the spot.
Recently, I worked with Chris, Mario, and Roni to build my dream system... a Pro-Ject turntable, McIntosh amp and preamp, and Sonus Faber speakers. It was a big investment for me, and they made sure I felt confident I chose what was best for me; and I was excited every step of the way.
What really sets them apart is their community approach. They host free events where brand reps come in to demo products and answer questions. Often, it's not just salespeople, but the actual folks who design the gear. That’s rare, and super valuable when you're trying to figure out what truly speaks to you (pun intended). Music is personal, and World Wide Stereo gets that.
Their entire approach; patient, passionate, and pressure-free; is what makes this place so special. Can’t recommend them...
