Capri Homemade Italian Ice — Restaurant in Radnor Township

The ice cream here could be out of this world, but, unfortunately I am not qualified to say as I have never tried it. I am however outside, with my 3 year old son, who I took on the regional rail from Ardmore to Wayne. He loves trains so I brought him for his first ever ride on a train. We walked down here, because it said it was open, but alas, it is not. I gave it 3 stars because I must shoulder some of the blame. I should have called ahead. But the loss of the 2 extra stars is representative of the management procedures. Customers love accurate data, they could have updated the hours on Google maps to show they were closed. Stopped by Capri Homemade Italian Ice this afternoon. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from (Swedish fish!) — something for everyone I would think. I went with the Watermelon Lemonade, which hit the spot. My wife had the Chocolate Chocolate Chip, which was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. This place is the absolute best. I’m from NY and have craved Italian ices since my move to PA over 15 years ago. I can look no more. The flavors are delicious, the texture and consistency of the ice is perfection, and Tim is a great guy.
