My husband and I went to Flights for our 20th Anniversary last week on Oct. 24th and had an amazing time!!! The restaurant was so open and we were seated in a leather booth together and dined like Kings! Our waiter, Travis Lewis, was very fun and attentive and he really enhanced our experience to make it really personal. He gave us great selections on what to order and we loved each one.... He laughed with us and we exchanged stories and he really was a fun waiter to have...we got lucky! We loved the free valet and how easy it was to go into the restaurant from outside the mall. All of the dishes were so pretty and creative. The dishes were too pretty to eat! I loved the sweet potato soup and the crab cake appetizer. For dessert, we had the hot cheesecake and it was brought out on a beautiful slate plate and the chef wrote "Happy Anniversary" on it in raspberry...Bottom line: Travis and the chef made our Anniversary very special and very personal....Travis, we will toast to you on 01-19-2014:) We...
Read moreI would recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether you live in the Raleigh area or are just visiting. The dining room and decor are warm and welcoming. It's a great place for a romantic dinner for two or a fun outing with friends. They have an extensive wine list with a lot of great options. The bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. They also have a unique list of cocktails to choose from. My dining experience was one of the best I have had since moving to the area two years ago. The food was AMAZING. The Chef clearly takes pride in his profession and his passion for creating exquisite food shows through in every plate. Every course was beautifully presented and the Chef's experience and culinary techniques were apparent. We...
Read moreThis is an amazing place that no one seems to know about. The Restaurant Week menu was fantastic at $30 per person and their regular menu is equally awesome! My lobster bisque (regular menu) was $6 and would have been twice that, at least, anywhere else. The Tiramisu desert (restaurant week menu, this week) oh so yummy! Trout in pecan covering and pasta dish (both Restaurant Week menu items) were delicious. Everyone we interacted with had our enjoyment and satisfaction as priority # 1. If you can get there this week for restaurant week, do. If it must wait for another time, dont miss this place! Only caution is the liquor drinks were upscale hotel pricey ($20 for a...
