Checkers Pizza — Restaurant in Raleigh

Let me tell you something....Checkers Pizza and Subs in Raleigh, NC has some seriously delicious food! How good? So good that the food had my car smelling so good that I couldn’t wait to eat, hence the reason for the pictures with portions of food missing. LOL My “All The Way” Small Pizza and Honey BBQ appetizer wings were exactly what I had been craving. The food hit that spot, and I had to call the restaurant back to thank them for my meal. Yes Lawd!

The customer service in the restaurant was also excellent. This was my first time visiting Raleigh in many years, and my first experience at this establishment. I selected this particular restaurant after looking at different places on Yelp and liking their choice of menu items and pricing, compared to other restaurants. I was pleased to see how the staff at Checkers treated every customer.

The quaint shop is clean and neat, and has space for dine-in or carry out. Checkers Pizza and Subs has an extensive menu that includes pizza, subs, Mediterranean food, and some vegetarian options. To top it off, they are open until 4:00am! How can you top a restaurant with great service, reasonable prices, delicious food, and menu variety, that is open until 4am? You can’t! I highly recommend Checkers Pizza and Subs. Tell them Kindra...

Pretty sad I have to give these guys such a low rating after all the business I have given them. I have ordered through doordash and grubhub with them at least a hundred times as I work 3rd shift and my options are very limited with the hours I work. I have noticed when I order through doordash with them that there is always an issue. Not sure what the reason is for that but it is what it is. My order tonight has unfortunately put them on my list of businesses that will not get my business back. Like I mentioned, I order pretty much the same antipasta salad from the almost every night. I always get italian dressing with it and request a little extra as it is quite large. Tonight, however, I didn't get a single thing of dressing! When I called to inquire about it all they told me is they only have 1 driver and i can come pick it up if I want. Hmmm...If i was able to pick dressing up from your restaurant across town, then why would I have ordered delivery?! They mentioned a credit for a free item, but that doesn't help me now! I figured small businesses like this could use a little help during COVID, but sounds like they are all good. Thanks Checkers for nothing, and I will be taking my daily...

Hands down the some of the best pizza , subs , wings , baklava, etc in Raleigh ! I’ve lived here a long time and I have always loved this place and they stay open super late and are 9/10 they’re 💯 on point ! Since I live quite a distance away from Checkers, I was so happy when I finally saw it as an option on DoorDash , (being that I don’t like to drive downtown at night and all the way back . I placed an order tonight at 11:20pm a small pizza and some baklava. It did not get here until 12:35 ,Yes they were later than expected but it was a long way and I know the driver had another delivery to make on the way when I got my pizza there was no meat on it ,I paid extra! Well, I called Checkers and I spoke to them and They immediately apologized and told me they would like to make it right . To me that’s customer service : apologizing and asking the customer what they can do to make it right . ( Can I just get a refund on my meat add on ? The pizza was delicious anyway so fair is fair.... ) So Checkers gets the win ! Great food and they care about their customers!! Checkers Please open a location in...
