I’ll start off by saying the food is really good but the service is absolutely not and they take no pride in their restaurant. I think they only have good reviews because they give away free ice cream and drinks for good reviews. We had an issue with every item we bought and we ended up paying $70 for the three messed up items (two pizzas and a cheese stick pizza). We also waited 40 minutes instead of the 15 that it said it would take. When I called to dispute the pizza and started off very nice, the guy talking to me shot down almost everything I said, despite me having photo evidence of the receipt and the pizzas labeled with time stamps on the photos. One of our pizzas was missing the mozzarella sticks, and he claimed to have put them on but he did not. He argued and was very hostile and refused to see any of our photo evidence. We also got a pizza that was meant to have mushrooms on it and he did admit that they didn’t put them on because they didn’t have them and he admitted to them costing extra but no one told us until we got home that they were missing and he would not refund the amount for the topping. He ended up hanging up on me and telling me to go f myself.
Honestly, worst customer service I’ve ever had to go through. Here’s a photo of the stoner pizza without the mozzarella sticks. It did have the fries on it so maybe that’s what he thought he put on. That didn't give him the right to be so terrible...
Read moreYou know what would make Gumby's even more awesome? If they were required to have the nutrition facts about the food available in the restaurant for customers who are diabetic(or have any other condition that might make them need to watch how much they eat). I was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and used to love Gumby's, but after asking the Gumby's staff at the NC State University location how many carbs are in the pokey sticks, they couldn't even give me a rough estimate. I asked them if they could give me a rough estimated of the carbs in their Pokey Sticks and they suggested I not eat them because there were "too many carbs"(thinking that diabetics cant eat normal people food). Being a diabetic does not mean I can never have carbs because carbs are essential for your body to produce energy. Diabetics need carbs just like everyone else except that they just have to be careful of the portion sizes they eat. First, You guys should be required to have nutrition facts be available so that diabetics are able to eat at Gumby's, which would be better for you because it would increase the demand for pokey sticks(and other items served) because now people are informed they can make choices on how much to eat. Obviously the greater the demand will increase revenue. You would personally benefit from printing out a sheet of paper with some...

Pokey Stix are amazing, been enjoying them since the old place staffed by stoners 20 years ago. Had some trouble but it seems the new ownership:management is getting back to basics and doing a good job. I’ll leave my old review for reference, but this is definitely back to being one of my go to’s for comfort food. It’s greasy, cheesy, high calorie goodness, as it very well should be.
Old Review Used to be my splurge to get pokey stix until my last interaction this spring. Delivery driver didn’t show up to his shift I guess, had to go pick up my order and wanted the delivery fee and tip removed from the charge. I was told I could either take the order or get a refund, no in between. I told them I’d take the refund as the delivery fee and tip was over $20. I was told it’d take 5 days for the refund. Two weeks later they still hadn’t started so I had to do a charge back. The manager was rude, didn’t do what they said, haven’t eaten here since. I hope management changes because I’ve stayed away since. Sometimes people have bad nights, but that doesn’t mean they can take it out on others and trying to steal.
Update - Ownership reached out and acknowledged my experience, sounds like they’re making an effort, I’m gonna give it another shot and will update my...
