Killjoy — Restaurant in Raleigh

I almost never write reviews, but our experience was so bad, I have to share. When we arrived, there was no one at the host stand to greet us. We awkwardly stood there for five minutes wondering if we were supposed to seat ourselves, even though we made a reservation. After the host arrived, we were seated on the patio next to a really loud and boisterous party who was shouting, breaking glassware and generally disturbing the tables around them. After fifteen minutes, waitstaff still hadn’t come to the table to take our orders, my partner had to go inside and flag someone down. Someone came by and quickly took our orders, where we proceeded to wait another twenty minutes for only cocktails. My partner went inside again to attempt to check on the status of our order, when a bartender rushed out to bring us our drinks, not even our assigned wait staff. She apologized for the long wait and promised to track down our assigned waiter, and that was honestly the only redeeming experience of our visit. Upon the delivery of our drinks, we immediately asked for the check because we were beginning to run late for our next reservation. The bartender once again brought us our check. This place is the real deal! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the elegant and classy ambiance - this is the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic evening with a special someone.

One of the things that really stood out to me about this lounge was the music - it was the perfect blend of classic hits and modern beats, and the volume was just right so that you could still have a conversation without straining to hear each other. The sound system was top-notch and the DJ really knew how to set the mood.

It is literally impossible to get in contact with anyone at this establishment. I had a reservation for 2 for the brunch even at 12:15 pm today. I needed to modify the time for my reservation so I tried calling yesterday morning (because open table said that you needed to call to modify any existing reservations) and when I called there was an automated voicemail that stated to make changes to any reservation to send them a DM on Instagram. So yesterday I sent them a DM, when I woke up this morning I checked to see if they messaged me back and it was READ but NO ONE REPLIED. So I decided to email them thinking maybe that would work, and of course no reply. I am extremely disappointed because I had to put my card number down to make this reservation and they charge $25 a person for no call no shows even though I have tried to reach out NUMEROUS times. I am so disappointed because I was excited to try this place out but customer service is almost nonexistent. I really hope I do not get...
