My husband and I are loving life here at 400H and have come to the conclusion that the leasing team is one of the most professional yet very enthusiastic people we met while touring apartment communities prior to making our decision last November 2024. Jacob was so kind and welcoming during our tour. We both felt as if we were âhome.â
Whenever we have a maintenance request, the maintenance team is right on it. We had a dryer issue and within an hour the sensor was cleaned and all was working great. An hour! I kid you not.
Management is consistent with enforcing community rule such as no smoking or vaping anywhere - it makes our building unique in the fact that we never want to smell cigarette smoke or marijuana as we enjoy our gorgeous sunset view. Ashley, our current property manager, is firm and confident enforcing that rule along with parking, trash, and other nuances that go hand-in-hand with living in an apartment building.
The units are stunning with very tall floor to ceiling windows (that professional window washers just recently cleaned beautifully!). Our appliances are all modern looking, the floors and countertops all neutral for blank slate decorating, and the lighting and fans compliment the interior design.
We use our fabulous gym and yoga studio almost every day. Very seldom do I share this space with more than 5 people. Sometimes I work out totally solo! There are two fantastic amenity lounges with sweeping views of downtown Raleigh and the countryside. We love the wine system on the 20th floor along with the pool table, pool, and two grills on the 9th floor.
My husband and I are retired and are most likely two of the eldest people in our 400H community but that is keeping us young! We are surrounded by intelligent, kind, and caring people who respect one another.
Itâs not easy juggling all the moving parts of a community this size but the team at 400H are knocking it out of the park on a...

Great WFH space and amazing coffee bar in the lobby. Walking distance to everything.. grocery store, coffee shop, park, you name it. Resident events are awesome and everyone is pretty friendly. Lots of young professionals in the building. Shoutout to Jacob, John, Meemee, and Mia for always taking care of me!
Updating my review after 2 months of being here*
Genuinely love this place so far but If I am being picky, here are some things to consider:
Pool - sun shines directly on pool from sunrise to about noon or 1pm. After that, you will catch shade in the entire pool area. Not a big fan of this for the summer... no tanning during peak hours of sunshine.
Sky lounge - they have a balcony in the sky lounge on the 20th floor but built on the same side as the pool so same problem with building blocking sunlight.
So if your apartment doesn't have a sunrise/sunset view then you cannot catch it in the pool or in the sky deck. Not a fan of this at all. I wish they would have considered the placement of the pool/sky deck a lot more. Seems like the area for the offices, that we don't have access to, gets the remaining of the sunlight during the day.
Gym LockerRoom: this is so nice, but I feel like no one uses it. More people would use it if there was a sauna in there. Definitely could use one and have the space for it.
Bathrooms: no walk in shower option. Tubs only. that was my biggest compromise moving in here since I loved the building so much.
WFH area: Need more seating area with plugs. Sometimes I have to sit in uncomfortable areas like the bar top to charge my laptop and work so...
Read moreIf youâve ever dreamed of living in an apartment where your internet mysteriously disappears every 4 to 5 weeks with zero warning, welcome to paradise! Thanks to Whiteskyâthe âtrustedâ internet provider hereâIâve had the unique pleasure of dealing with random outages that strike whenever they please. No pattern, no notice, just pure chaos. One minute youâre online, the next youâre staring at a blank screen wondering if the internet will ever come back. Spoiler alert: nobody knows. When you call Whitesky to report the outage, theyâre quick to answer and create a ticket. Thatâs the grand finale. After that, itâs radio silence. No updates, no estimated fix time, just a ticket floating somewhere in the void. Meanwhile, youâre left guessing if youâll be online again today or next week. Managementâs response? The classic, âWe understand your frustration.â Followed by the even more comforting, âUnfortunately, we donât know what else can be done.â Wow, that really inspires confidence. They claim to escalate the issue, but clearly that means nothing since no long-term solution is in sight. Despite months of this nonsense, they refuse to consider switching providers or actually fixing the problem. So if you want an apartment where your internet is as reliable as a coin toss, and where complaints are met with empty words and helpless shrugging, this is your dream home. Five months in, and the only certainty is that Whiteskyâs internet will fail youârandomly, endlessly, and without explanation. Bravo to management and Whitesky for redefining...
