McDonald's — Restaurant in Raleigh

This is the closest McDonald's to us and it's one I will avoid in the future. It's pretty clear from the general state of disrepair and overall lack of cleanliness that the owners don't give two hoots about this particular store.

I have visited here for lunch, dinner, and just before closing and in each case, the eating area was sloppy if not downright dirty, with left-over food trays, napkins, and more on any given table. Not only that, the drink dispenser on the left doesn't dispense ice, but there's no sign saying that. On my last visit, my Coke had an orange flavor and was flat. I tried both machines with the same results. When I brought it to the store's attention, they... (roll drums!)... did nothing. (Sigh!) No customer service. Not only that, but I witnessed that the pump handles for the chocolate and caramel topping dispensers were broken off, that is, there was no way to pump the toppings; the staff was ladling them on top of the ice cream, touching the ice cream, and returning the ladle to the topping container. Yikes!

While there is a sizable staff behind the counter, you'd never know it by the amount of time it takes to serve my meals. Typically, I order a double-quarter pounder with cheese meal, and two apple pies while my son orders a meal, large fries, and two cookies. I have waited as little as 14 minutes to as long as 18 minutes to be served my meal. I thought this was supposed to be "fast food." Looks like someone didn't get the message at this store.

The last time I ate there, all, and I do mean ALL, my fries were soggy and under cooked. Not only that, when I opened my sandwich to put pepper on top, there was literally a dot of catsup about as small as a dime and a hint of mustard. Luckily I had catsup and mustard at home, so I spiced up my sandwich to my tastes, but c'mon!, is quality control that poor at this place???

These problems could be fixed by owners paying attention to and caring for his store, but that's just not happening at this locale. I will still visit McDonald's, but not this store, not anymore.

Not sure if everyone was tired this day or what but I ordered my food at the self ordering station (because I was told that was the way to order) and had a question for one of the employees who completely ignored me. I had a question about adding a topping to my sandwich because there was no option on the self-serve station. I tried asking a second employee but was ignored by that one as well. There were 3 people standing around when I asked. I ended up yelling my question out and one of the employees came from the back and told me yes I could add onions to my sandwich. I also ordered my food “for here” and even took a number as prompted by the machine. Instead of bringing my food on a tray a man continued yelling “ma’am!” and brought my food to me in a bag and just dropped the bag on the table. The sodas were also all flat. When my mom went to ask them about the sodas the lady at the counter was on the phone and stated to my mom “what do you want, what do you want!” The fish sandwich was also cold and the cheese was dried up. While sitting and eating my food I observed several customers who waited at the counter to have their order taken and employees continued to walk past without acknowledging them. When they eventually took the orders they were rude and almost annoyed that the customer didn’t use the self service option. Overall the customer service was a zero star but this was not an option. Why I like McDonalds between Trawick and capital it's because of your name Jermaine is a hard-working person black male person I see him do a lot of things for the people that is pleasing I myself have worked in restaurants and fast food restaurant and I know approximately got talent's they really satisfy the customer and have them wanting to return again I should I think that he should be highly recommend and given a trophy for his great service to this company Jermaine is a great access to this, and he just is a wonderful h o oray hooray to Jermaine Brown y ou are excellent in service I hope you see this the truth you have all the one that do a good job but I'll sell them all he's a great job I hope you can understand what I'm saying McDonald there with Jermaine is an excellent place to be without Jermaine I have been there without Jermaine being there and the people they just there they wipe the tables and they making you smile they may not I just like his personality I just like his love for people and I can tell he loves people cuz I do so hooray hooray congratulations. congratulate him when you see him for the excellent things that he does and being such a kind and loving person that he is he needed everywhere go Jermaine go show your show that you are...
