Ok so here is the review first part the restaurant part and then a employee assessment of the restaurant experience-ok first the food is bad all customers are correct šÆ on this it comes out of a pre cooked refrigerated bag I should know again used to work at this circus šŖ glad šI don't place is a hot dumpster fire š„ food was so bad𤮠I ate Chick-fil-A every day the struggle for good food is real I'm a former employee and I would not eat this bad foodšÆš the chicken for the burrito:s quesadillas homewrecker burrito's etc. steak is pre packaged and refrigerated until they put it on the grill queso is refrigerated goop in a bag they heat up black beans a can etc nothing is homemade or fresh š¤®it comes from a Moe's distribution center the company that owns Moe's is focus brands Google it to verify this employees yes have attitudes are unprofessional cause they are part of a skeleton crew from the gm her name is Ivonne Reyes the crew is her son Adrian her daughter Ingrid a Cary youngin named Curtis don't wear a uniform maybe he gets special treatment? that wears no hair net or hat sweat dripping in food no proper foot wear in kitchen worn by these folks that consist of the gm's family and some other staff members with special treatment perks family runs a money laundering sceme she is using to fund her criminal activity &fund her escape from NC back to California before focus brands relise she stole there money embezzlement of it. 90%catering 1% actually Moe's restaurant operations as a customer experience goes bad food numerous health violations including cross contamination non clean grills nasty surfaces on salsa bar and bathroom's that break down flood sewer water all the time and toxic smells from restrooms that stay out of order all the time broken drink machine issues dirty dining rooms tables trash cans in dining rooms and numerous other issues here again expensive food prices also bad customer service from employees customer service costs extra?š¤Øš± and welcome to Moe's holler that at customer's is šÆnot customer service it's a crutch to avoid customers dealing with them again this location is bad all review's reflect that all these things have been verified the gm Ivonne Reyes does not care about any of these things all she wants is your money slience people have complained before yet focus brands and the district location owner allows her family to run this location like sears a slow going out of buissness sale liquidation I like Moe's southwest grill not this location as a customer as a former employee I'm shedding light on this location to also verify all what customer experiences and complaints are valid and yes food poisoning has accured at this location for cross contamination issues yet this place continue's to operate?? broken leaking coke freestyle machine? no money to fix it?š±š¤Øš again don't have a problem with Moe's southwest grill I like Moe's southwest grill I won their contest for free burrito's for a year eons ago another location that was awesome&I like Moe's food menus are different at each location not trolling just keep it 100 so results may vary indeed but this location breathes cause it is a college kid hang out if there bored and 0%places to eat in Cameron village so they exist all the customers that care about food service industry quality worker customer service standards I hear you I understand I'm with you I work in the food industry we all have at one point with great power comes great responsibility indeed if you are one of them folks that does not give a pretzel flip about this then I say onto you WELCOME TO THIS HOT MESS LOCATION OF MOES !!! Good luck and may the food poisoning not be with you as of 5/8/23 its about the same here nothing's has improved it's gotten worse the door's Will be padlocks by the sheriff's department soon a slow going out of business sales here Update in 2023 Moe's location still declining fast employees are only worth a penny overpriced poor quality still only a matter of time before its game over soon for here cant happen soon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went this evening at 8:20, not realizing this location closed at 9 (my lady and I both work in the food service industry and avoid being "those" people at all cost) and figured we'd be in and out, seeing as we only wamted take-away. Service was very much prompt and sincere, albeit for one of the staff members who was busy tidying up the floors screaming "F*!" when more patrons walked in behind us.
Allow me to side-track for a momeny here; I've worked in the food industry for well over a decade, and I understand that the last hour of service is absolutely the LONGEST and most nerve-wracking point in your shift...but I can tell you with certainty, that screaming obscenties within earshot of guests/paying patrons due to your own personal frustration on the home stretch isn't going to look very good for you or the business you claim to represent. It is to my understanding that the vast majority of employees at this location are high school aged students, and with this in mind (since I was once within that age/experience gap myself) I can forgive the momentary arrogance and growth stage. My only question is: where is the manager (adult) in this scenario?
Now, on to a more pressing matter to me on a very deep level. Upon trying our guacamole (which we both had ordered on our respective entrees: me, a Homewrecker, and her, nachos...in addition to a side of guac for chips) my partner noticed a "chemical-like" taste. When I tasted said guac, I could instantly pinpoint the error: rotten tomatoes had been incorporated into whatever current batch of guacamole was on the line. Once again, I can understand how it is the end of the night...you're all collectively ready to go home and be done for the day, and there may be a few minor descrepencies here and there that fall to the wayside...but rotten product introduced into fresh product that is then served to paying guests? Come on guys. I know I'm no stranger in feeling at Moe's prices, there is no room for error on the preparation end.
With rotten product and openly vulgar employees in mind (which, I'm normally cool with when it is safe in back of house out of earshot)...this was a thoroughly disappointing visit for us; and we don't come often mind you.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWELCOME TO MOES!!! Their famous Slogan, which honestly I didn't realise how nice it was to hear that until I didn't. When I was in Virginia Beach I ate at moes frequently. We were great friends Moe and me. Well here in North Carolina at Cameron Village. They do NOT Welcome you to Moes.. Third time Ive been there, and seated for roughly an hour or so. And not once.. Did I hear a single person say 'Welcome to Moe's' I even shouted it out and then people looked at me like I was crazy.
Moe's food is Amazing but at this location... Lets say its... 'Not' There is Language barrier. And even a Listening to what the customer wants issue. Putting tofu instead of queso on my burrito is not listening. Ugh bleh!
I was eating my burrito taking little pieces of tofu out and by the way when I got onto the guy for putting tofu(which honestly i thought at first was chicken) in my burrito instead of redoing it.. He hand picked the big chunks out of my burrito and I just stared at him shocked.. Anyways.. I was eating and the taste was getting worse with every bite.. Because I spent 18$ on a burrito and a taco and a drink and when looking at my reciept i seen I was charged for a cup of queso.. Yet.. I had no such thing... So i went to complain. The person there wasnt understanding me. So I asked for the manager. She comes over and I explained what I seen and she stepped around the counter to check my table to see if I was Lying..i assume.. And then gave me a cup of queso.. I told her I wanted my money back and she said i gave you your cup. Said I didnt want it and at this point I had enough.. I just went back to my seat ate a little of my queso and dumped half my burrito my drink and my full cup of queso in the trash.. It didnt even taste good because of the bad service..
Moe's is Famous for welcoming their guest.. I felt robbed and alone when I entered their restaurant.. I am usually alone. But used to at Moe's i felt wanted and welcomed.
