The gentleman who was working the counter/kitchen on the evening of 12/28/19 did not even remotely provide good customer service. Admittedly, I came in with a bit of a strange situation. I had been told by my coworkers at my school that they had arranged for me to have 4 large pizzas available for me to order at any point during the year as a congratulatory gift for winning teacher of the year. All I needed to do was give the store my name and the name of my school and I would be able to order a pizza for free. Immediately upon attempting to explain this to the gentleman at the store, he began shaking his head. Every time I paused as I attempted to give him further details, he offered me a curt, "Nope." There was no one else in his store and he was not in the process of making any pizzas, yet he did not even attempt to help me figure out the situation. He didn't even try to pretend to be sympathetic. His body language and tone communicated to me that I was wasting his time, and he would prefer it if I would stop talking and leave. As a customer service veteran of 10 years prior to becoming a teacher, I would have been mortified to treat someone like this, or witness another customer service worker treat someone like this. Read moreI understand what I am getting with a pizza hut pizza. My issue here is the service. I placed an order online (Gave address and name of condo complex - not a new building). 40 minutes later I received a call from the store asking what my address was. When I told him, he said "No, thats not your address." I gave him the cross streets, still didnt help. Manager gets on the line - "What hotel are you at?" Again, Im at my house - where I have lived for more than a day or two... I give him the same address I entered online and repeated twice and suddenly this time they know where I am.
Fast forward 10 minutes. I am literally standing at my door with my dog so that the delivery driver can see me and I am ready to go when he gets here. He calls and says "I am here, where are you?" I tell him I am out front. He says he is out front and that I am lying. Turns out, 30 seconds later, he drives into the parking lot. He was not out front, nor was he lost at a different address, but assumed that I would not be out front and called before he got here.
Being accused 1 time by a pizza joint of being incompetent is insulting enough, being called incompetent once and a liar twice is reason enough for me to never order from this restaurant again.
Pizza Hut, you should be ashamed of yourself and you need a new manager at this...
Read moreif i could give negative stars i would. i stopped ordering from here a few years ago after i waited almost 2 hours for food and they couldnt cancel the order. i figured 2 years later they got their sh!t together. i ordered for delivery they said 30 mins. again over an hour later i called to see where the food was. they said its on it way. about 45 mins after that the delivery driver called and said shes lost in my neighborhood. its a small circle with one way in and one way out. impossible to get lost for 45 mins. when i walked outside to help her find her way the driver said your getting your food for free so dont complain about the wait. i called back the store because my food was ice cold and hard. they sent another order back out and still took another hour to get the second order and that was cold also. called the store and the manager said they were busy and nothing they can do. all i wanted was a quick pizza to feed my kids. ended up throwing all 6 pizzas in the garabge. didnt trust that the store didnt do anything and didnt want my kids to risk getting sick. still had to cook dinner that night after my kids were...
