My wife and I double dated here last night. Our experience was great, and we already have a 2nd date planned with another awesome couple. Drinks: The smoked old fashioned was the best I have ever had. (No lie, and no exaggeration) Apps: The onion ring tower, and queso were both large portions for apps and delicious. Tip: try dipping the onion rings in the queso. Entree: I had the bone in ribeye cooked medium rare and it was perfect. She had the filet and had 0 complaints as well. Service: Our waitress was attentive given how busy they were. I never was without a drink, and the timing of food was spot on. Can't wait to go back! 5 star visit Update for 2nd visit; We came here again with another friend. The bone in ribeye was delicious, and although I typically do not use steak sauce, the steak sauce they have is unlike any I have had before. I found 2 extra alcoholic drinks added to our bill, which I almost paid without checking. Glad I did, and the server removed then quickly. I will say, it is WAY TOO LOUD in this place. If the music was about half the volume, a typical conversation would be much easier. 4 star rating this visit due to the noise and extra drinks on the tab. Update for 3rd visit; Last night triple dated here, and we had J as our server. Dude provided excellent service. He was there when we needed us, and not bugging us when we didn’t. It was the perfect balance of never running out of a drink and not over bearing. Both other couples even made comments about his service being so good. Props to J for taking great care of us, and realizing we were enjoying a night out without kids and in no rush at all. He went with it and we never felt like he wanted us to leave so he could have another table. Food: Between the 3 couples we had Miguel’s queso, bang bang shrimp, a pretzel, spicy tuna stack, and calamari. Only mild complaint was there was a bit too much sauce on the bang bang shrimp. Everyone was quite happy with all of the apps. 4 of us had steaks, with 1 pizza, and 1 beef noodles. I didn’t hear a single complaint about any of the entrees from anyone. Drinks: The drinks were flowing! And the bartenders here haven’t really disappointed me yet. The ONLY recommendation that I can have is when smoking the old fashioned to make sure there are a decent amount of smoke chips and to let the lid sit on for a few minutes. Dessert: We ordered 3 desserts for everyone to try, the lava cake, cheesecake, and banana pudding. The cheesecake was the favorite amongst everyone, but all 3 were very good, and we would order again. 5 star visit this evening.

I visited with my family on a Friday around the start of happy hour. We've been here before at that time as it allows us to get a booth before the restaurant gets busy after work hours and still enjoy the scenery at North Hills. The wait staff smiled a lot and were very personable. We arrived during a shift change, but there were no issues with delays in getting our drink/food order placed. Our waiter was very attentive in refilling our drinks and checking on us to see if everything was ok. We appreciated that. The main reason we came during happy hour is for the half priced appetizers. They have a decent selection of items for half price during that time. My wife, son andhalf-priced daughter and I all were able to find something that we liked. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared them. We had the calamari, cheese pizza, bbq chicken pizza, Korean boneless wings and the chicken tenders. My wife had to go rouge and get the Firecracker shrimp (not eligible for the happy hour discount). I don't blame her for ordering it, as it is very, very good! My apologies for not providing a detailed description of the shrimp, but it is good and my wife and I would recommend it to anyone who likes some slightly spicy shrimp on a bed of sweet rice cake. The calamari were lightly fried with just the right amount of salt. Crispy and not overcooked. The kids had the cheese pizza and tenders, which was, well... cheese pizza and tenders. Not much to say there. They enjoyed it. The Korean boneless wings were very good. I'm not sure how authentic the flavor was, but I enjoyed them nonethelessin. Crispy chicken breast bites fried and tossed with a sweet chili sauce. Our waiter mentioned the wings would be spicy. She was correct, spicy, but not hot. The sauce was just right, not very sweet, but had a nice chili spice to it. I will definitely get that again. The BBQ chicken pizza was also good. I had that before. The size of the pizza (all of the pizzas) was nice for $8. The chicken was breast pieces were still tender after cooking in the oven. The bbq sauce as the base was good, not too sweet, a bit smokey, and just the right quantitiy on the pizza. Red onion was a nice counter to the sweetness of the sauce and the cilantro provided some brightness to the pizza. Overall, we had a nice time out there. Except for the shrimp, nothing we ordered was over $8. As Bob Barker said, "The price is right!". The TVs were showing various games and the music was not too loud (easy to hold a conversation at the table). We'll be back for sure!

This location was a little busy during our visit. That is expected around 8:30 pm on a Saturday evening. I used the app (I suggest using the app, it is well put together.) to put us on the waitlist before we arrived. Our wait seemed short as the music and the atmosphere made the time fly. We ordered Truffle fries with parmesan and Crispy Brussels Sprouts with potatoes as appetizers. The fries were warm, crispy, and flavorful. The Brussels Sprouts on the other hand were a mixed bag, some were hard and some were nice and tender. The potatoes were crispy and tender inside. We ordered fish and chips with fries for one entree and pepper crusted filet and white sauce with asparagus, parmesan potatoes, and carrots. **UPDATE** We decided to revisit this location as we were staying in Raleigh again tonight. There was no wait to be seated and our server was taking our order in no time. Again the atmosphere was great, it works for a fun night, a date night, or just a chill night. Our food was phenomenal, I ordered the Ribey with spinach mashed potatoes and baby broccoli. The steak was cooked perfect to order, juicy, and did not need any sauces. The spinach mashed potatoes were just right with a hint of spinach flavor. The baby broccoli had just the right amount of crunch while tender enough to enjoy. My wife ordered the Fish and chips with Garlic French fries. The fish was covered in a crispy and golden layer of batter and yet still flaky inside. The french fries had such a flavorful garlic taste to them. This is becoming our go to place here in Raleigh, NC. The staff seem to almost always be friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Thank You, Yard House.

We came here to celebrate a family get together. There were 5 adults and two children. Arrived at a not busy time and we were seated. Our server (Alyssa) was great and her time frame for checking up on us frequently was good. The menu is quite extensive (pages long) and depending on your tastes you should be able to find almost anything. I ordered the Jambalaya and it was spicy favorable but not heat spicy if that makes sense. The others ordered burgers and such and they were tasty looking. That's the good stuff. There are a few needs to be improved items, the food came out in two / three deliveries. The first orders were warm and had been sitting while waiting for the rest of the orders to be completed. The onion rings were sopping in oil (check the one picture). The last item (burger and fries) was delivered hot off the grill and looked great. Other items that needs improved upon is the background music, way too loud. When you almost have to shout across the table to have a conversation it's too loud. I know the sports bar theme lends to this but there's a fine line between good ambient music and LOUD. Anyways, the server was awesome, the food was in the middle of the road, and the atmosphere was way too loud. If you just want to come and watch sports while sitting at the bar I'm sure this is enjoyable. I'm pretty sure we won't be back. My ears are still ringing.

I recently dined at Yard House in North Hills, and while the restaurant's decor and location are definitely standout features, the overall experience fell flat. The atmosphere is undeniably impressive, with a modern, stylish design that makes for a great first impression. However, beyond the aesthetics, the dining experience didn’t quite hit the mark. The food was just okay—nothing particularly memorable—and frankly, overpriced for what it was. It seemed like you were paying more for the setting than the quality of the meal itself. I expected more from a place that looks so upscale. The dishes lacked the flavor or creativity you’d expect at this price point, which was a letdown. What really left a sour taste in my mouth, though, was the service. It was slow, inattentive, and disappointing overall. For a restaurant in such a prime location, I was expecting much better. When you’re paying a premium, you at least want to feel well taken care of, and that just wasn’t the case. In the end, while the atmosphere is top-notch, the food and service don’t justify the cost. I probably won’t be going back anytime soon.
