My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Giorgio Pizza Bar, and it turned out to be a delightful dining experience from start to finish. Located in a vibrant part of town, the restaurant boasts a cool and inviting decor that sets the mood for a memorable evening. We started our meal by indulging in the burrata, and it was a heavenly delight. The creamy texture and rich flavor of the cheese paired perfectly with the accompanying fresh tomatoes and artichokes. It was a fantastic way to kick off our culinary journey. For our main course, we decided to share two pizzas: the Eggplant Milanese Pizza and the Ornella Pizza. The Eggplant Milanese Pizza was a delightful twist on a classic dish. The crispy eggplant slices were perfectly cooked and added a wonderful depth of flavor to the pizza. The Ornella Pizza, on the other hand, featured a delightful combination of roasted pears and rosemary. The sweetness of the pears and the fragrant aroma of the rosemary created a unique and delicious flavor profile that we thoroughly enjoyed. To complement our meal, we selected a bottle of wine from their extensive list. The knowledgeable staff helped us choose a wine that perfectly matched our preferences and enhanced the flavors of our dishes. The service throughout the evening was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff members who made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. As an added surprise, we were given a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. It turned out to be a scrumptious tiramisu. The layers of creamy mascarpone cheese, a delicate cake soaked in espresso, and a hint of cocoa created a luscious and satisfying dessert that rounded off our meal perfectly. Overall, Giorgio Pizza Bar exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the trendy decor to the exceptional service, and most importantly, the delicious food, this restaurant truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening or simply a great place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, Giorgio Pizza Bar should be at the top of your list. We can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreDelicious food, poor management! General manager, Reno Brasil, needs some training in customer service. Last night my friends and I ate dinner at Giorgio Pizza Bar at North Hills. This was my third time eating at this restaurant since its opening in January. Their food is great, and up until last night, the service was great too. We had reservations at 7pm and were seated right away. Our food took a while to come out, but it was delicious. After we finished our meals around 8:50pm, our waiter brought our check and we proceeded to put our credit cards on the table to pay. About five minutes passed by and our waiter still hadn’t come by to take our cards, which didn’t bother us because we were still enjoying ourselves. That’s when things quickly changed. The general manager, Reno Brasil, came by our table and told us that there were people who had reservations for our table and they were waiting, so “when we’re ready” we need to go. After being shocked that he would say that to us, we told him that we were done, but the server hadn’t come by to take our credit cards so he then took them. As we were leaving, I approached Mr. Brasil to let him know how disrespectful and rude it was for him to say that to us and that we had reservations too. He then said, “You were here for three hours. Other people need that table too.” I was appalled and corrected him that we had only been here two hours and that we are paying customers and should be able to dine here as long as we want. He was so condescending, unprofessional, and unapologetic. If he is going to continue to be the manager there, he needs to attend some customer service training. Because of his actions, I will never be dining at this restaurant again. I can’t imagine that this is the first time he has treated...
Read moreVery nice pizza/Italian place to go on a special occasion. We tried 4 appetizers, Meatball, Sardina Salad, Burrata & Fritto Misto. Other than the meatball I would have thought I wouldn't have liked those others but they were all super good. Put the sauce, artichokes and cheese from the white cheese ball on the toasty bread from the Burrata, yum! The shaved meats on the Sardina were a great touch. For entrees we has the Diavolo pepperoni pizza, 2 Calzones which were huge, not recommended for one person if you want appetizers and dessert and the sodalicious Lasagnetta. Just the right amount of cheese and plenty of meat in that lasagna. The meat had a good wood fired taste to it that might have come from a bbq kinda tasting sauce that was drizzled on a corner of the plate. Whatever it was gave the lasagna a nice unique touch. The Calzones were great, the pizza was great. We had the Truffle Tiramisu for dessert and it was very good. Pretty big but we split it 4 ways so after all of the earlier dishes it was just the right amount. Giorgio himself even dropped by the table and we talked. Looking forward to his French Bistro, East End in February/March. Our server Jaleel was on point and great, as were all of the staff that came by the table. Everything was great. Make sure to reserve a...
