EDIT: please view the attachment to read the most insane text I’ve ever received in my life. “ Hello, please be advised alarms will be sounding today through Thursday. We do recommend ear plugs or staying away from home until 5pm.” Are y'all actually serious? This is SO insane. Do you not think about people who work from Home? People who have pets? People who have young children/babies? Hands down the most inconsiderate complex I’ve ever lived in. I will be spending $250 this week to put my dog in daycare so he isn’t tormented by the alarms for 4 days straight. They also sent out an incorrect email about this saying they will need access to our units starting March 10th, so I spent $50 to put my dog in daycare. ALL THE WHILE they aren’t starting until today now. They then had the audacity to put a goody bag with a chocolate the size of my fingernail and a note that says “we love our residents” do you really? That’s your peace offering for how miserable it is to live here? Like okay?? I hate to write this review as the leasing staff and management are really nice, but this has been nothing short of an awful experience. We were actually more than willing to pay almost $4,000 to get out of our lease 4 months early due to how bad this living situation has been. 1. If you have a dog, do not live here. There are constant fire alarms. The fire alarm is the loudest alarm I have ever heard in my life and has actually ruined the temperament of our dog. He is now afraid of quite literally everything and everyone because of these alarms. We have a camera in our apartment and have video footage of the alarm going off and him being alone (we are at work) and he is crying, peeing himself, pacing back and forth, etc. 2. The alarm goes off at all times of the day and night. We have woken up multiple times at 2am, 3am, 4am, etc and had to stand outside in the rain, cold, and dark for 30 min to an hour. If you work from home, forget living here because you will be on meetings and need to log off because the alarm is going off once again. 3. Constant break in’s in the parking garage. There is glass everywhere on the 5th level of the parking deck from the constant window smashings that never get cleaned up. 4. The elevators constantly smell like weed, cigarettes, etc. The complex actually does try to prevent this by sending out emails but it doesn’t stop it unfortunately. 5. The hallways on the 7th floor specifically do not have heating or AC. In the summer, it was always 80+ degrees in the hallways and now in the winter it’s 60 degrees in the hallways. Over the summer I emailed the old leasing manager to please fix this and she told me “heat rises”… Well then wouldn’t my actual unit be 80 degrees too? Makes no sense. I would walk my dog in the 100 degree outside just to walk inside my hallway and it be 80 degrees with no AC. 7. We recently had maintenance come into our unit to replace our dryer vent and they proceeded to unplug the camera I have in our unit that I use to watch our dog while we aren’t home. I know this because as soon as they entered our unit the camera mysteriously disconnected (it has never disconnected the entire time I’ve owned the camera unless I unplugged it) and miraculously re-connected once they had left. They have no right to touch my personal belongings and should not be doing anything in MY apartment that cannot be seen. They also left our laundry room a mess with dust everywhere that I had to clean up. 8. There is a major lack of parking. Multiple times I have had to park elsewhere in North Hills and WALK to our building. Like that is actually insane when you are paying $2k in rent. Over the summer during the music series, we would have to circle the parking deck for over 45 minutes just to find a place to park. Trust me that it speaks VOLUMES that we are seriously paying almost FOUR THOUSAND dollars to leave just 4 months early. It is actually painful to live here. Every neighbor I’ve talked to feels this same way

If you’re considering moving here—don’t. Let’s start with the fire alarms: they go off in the early hours of the morning at least once a month. The management blames “interconnected systems” instead of taking accountability and upgrading their own. Instead of protecting tenants’ sleep and sanity, they blame other businesses like it’s not their problem. I’d ask them to consider if they lived here paying their hard earned money to be in a good area of town with their families, young children, or pets, would they be pleased with the excuse “our systems are connected to other retail locations and we have no control over the false alarms” when a 2:00 am alarm goes off for nearly an HOUR. And then continues to happen Every. Single. Month. After with no resolution. Log of dates for the false fire alarms I remember and was present for are pictured in review. I know I’ve missed a lot on there. Then there’s maintenance—or lack thereof. When my washer and dryer broke, they left my request on hold for a week with no communication. I had to follow up myself just to get any movement. Completely unprofessional and shows exactly how little they care. My building exit has a washer/dryer, microwave, or dishwasher being disposed weekly at the trash compact bc the appliances and everything about this building are outdated. Both pictured in review. Parking? A joke. You get 1.5 floors out of 5 dedicated to you and the hundreds of other tenants in a deck where the other 3 floors are also shared with all of North Raleigh/or reserved grocery parking. Good luck finding a spot when the shopping center is packed (which is always). You’ll be circling for 30 minutes fighting off beach music-goers and restaurant patrons just to park near your own f’ in apartment. Let’s not forget the trash situation because the handful of tenants here that have no regard for anyone else are also something to be mentioned. Go shopping at Harris Teeter? Bring your cart up to your apartment floor…what’s the reasonable thing to do? Bring the cart back down…but no. We leave 5-6 carts scattered all over the hallways. We have loads of tenants who let their pets defecate in hallways, stairwells, sidewalks, and elevators without a single freaking thought. General trash accumulates everywhere. One bin overflowed and sat festering with flies and garbage for over two weeks on the side of the building—completely ignored. Pictured in review. Now here’s the real kicker: I run a successful retail business directly across the street. When a customer is unhappy, I pick up the phone, I call them, I make it right. I don’t send a generic copy-paste apology with no intent to actually fix anything. Meanwhile, this property management company leaves the same tired, dismissive responses on every review. Drew has been extremely pleasant in my instances with him, but having one competant and kind individual could never ever make up for the sorry excuse of an apartment that this is. Bell Partners manages tons and tons and tons of properties, so what it boils down to is- They simply don’t care—they know people want to live in North Hills, so they’ll keep bamboozling new tenants with nice photos and tours. And then the veil will drop. I’ve seen uhaul after uhaul at my building exit, EVERYONE is moving out. Save yourself the headache. Bell Partners and Park & Market only want your money. They will give you nothing in return. No peace, no empathy, no resolution. There are tons of brand-new, better-managed ACTUAL LUXURY apartments in and around North Hills. Most of which are also connected to retailers and have no issues with blaring fire alarms at 3am So I repeat: Do not sign a lease here. Spend the extra money to go elsewhere. Vine, Park Central, Channel House, Highland, so many others. And lastly- DO BETTER Park and Market, get it together and do freaking better. This is insanity and you know it.

My experience living at Park & Market apartments can only be described as a never-ending series of disappointments and frustrations. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice and explore other options. First of all, the state of cleanliness in this complex is abysmal. It's shocking how often you'll come across dog pee and poop in the hallways, staircases, and even in the elevators. Not to mention, there seems to be a complete disregard for the rules regarding dog breeds, as non-approved breeds are all too common. Speaking of elevators, they are a constant source of frustration. They are either constantly broken or in need of service, with some elevators being out of order for months at a time. This can be an incredible inconvenience, especially when moving in or out. I even witnessed a situation where electrical wires were hanging from one of the elevators, which is a serious safety hazard. The smoking issue in this complex is pervasive and unrelenting. Despite making multiple complaints, smoking continues both above and below my apartment. Cigar wrappers and ashes are frequently littered around the balcony, and my apartment initially smelled like smoke when I moved in. I had to have the air filter replaced twice, but the faint smell of smoke still lingers in my apartment, on my clothes, and in my furniture. Maintenance issues extend beyond the smoking problem. There are leaks in the hallways, resulting in puddles, and stains on the hallway carpet. The loading dock areas are infested with birds that can leave you with an unpleasant surprise from above. Trash bags are often left in hallways and chute areas for extended periods, creating an unsightly and unsanitary environment. If you're hoping to find a peaceful oasis at the pool, think again. Loud personal speakers of other residents often overpower any sense of privacy or relaxation you may be having. Additionally, the frequent and seemingly random fire alarms have been a consistent problem for years, disrupting daily life and causing unnecessary stress. Save yourself the headache and find a different apartment complex with better management. Park & Market apartments are riddled with issues that make it an unpleasant and frustrating place to live. Don't make the same mistake I did; look elsewhere for a more enjoyable living experience.

Most of which are also connected to retailers and have no issues with blaring fire alarms at 3am

So I repeat: Do not sign a lease here. Spend the extra money to go elsewhere. Vine, Park Central, Channel House, Highland, so many others.

And lastly- DO BETTER Park and Market, get it together and do freaking better. This is insanity and...

I moved into my studio apartment approximately two months ago and finally feel that I have amassed enough experience with this wonderful apartment complex to formulate a review. I am originally from Southern California, and after making the life-changing decision to leave my hometown, while landing a dream job in Raleigh’s thriving IT market, I was faced with the arduous task of finding a place to live, and I needed to move with haste, as my first day was a mere two weeks away. The scope of the challenge was soon narrowed as I learned that my new office was to be one of the stunning corporate high rises in the eclectic North Hills district, and the panel of apartment complexes was trimmed to only the finest that Raleigh had to offer. The North Hills district is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the Triangle, and from your first visit, you will find this opinion to be undeniable. It features a sprawling collection of boutique shopping in conjunction with a lavish representation of culinary styles, from the fascinating Cowfish Sushi/Burger Bar, joyous Kilwins, or even the stunning Level Seven, a night out will always leave you satisfied along with a memory you will be glad you made. Living in this area reveals other delightful perks, from the weekly Farmers Market and Summer Concerts to the simple fact that owning a car is completely optional during your residency anywhere in the North Hills district, everything you could need is easily accessible and within walking distance. A majority of the structures in the area are multipurpose, featuring businesses on the ground level with apartments on the more elevated floors, and what a collection of apartments there is to choose from, Lassiter, Allister, Midtown Green, all of them superb in there own right, but during my research, it was clear the Park and Market could not only stand among the finest that Raleigh had to offer but become the clear choice. When I first called Park and Market, I had the pleasure of working with Nate, who understood that I would be needing to pick an apartment sight unseen, and would stop at nothing to make me feel as if I was right there touring the complex by providing helpful insight towards all of the features of each floor plan in conjunction with a wealth of photos and videos; I now live in the apartment that he recommended, and feel it far exceeds the praise he had sung for it. And Nate is only one member of the joyous family of team members that diligently work every day to ensure that living here is comforting and accommodating. Shari and Ginger, who can commonly be found in the front office, always greet me with a smile that truly makes me feel like I’m arriving at my home, not just an apartment building. Kali is helpful and sweet, not once failing to inquire about my day, as if a dear friend I have not seen in some time. And Ashley, who is an unbelievably hard worker, routinely goes above and beyond what is required to ensure that every resident here feels welcomed, cared for, and filled with delight every time they walk through the door. Furthermore, in addition to the wonderful staff, there are many comforting amenities here to elevate it above a traditional residential experience from a beautiful pool, tranquil courtyards, a club house, and even a downstairs grocery store, there is a boundless collection of places to read, relax and socialize with a welcoming collection of fellow residents. Lastly, my apartment, which is a studio that overlooks Saint Albans drive is spacious and quiet, commonly flooded with natural light, and even has a partial wall that makes it feel like a one-bedroom. I will end with this statement, because it was the number one question I had before I moved in, Yes, a queen-sized bed fits perfectly in...
