Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

Went in to grab dinner to go. A sign on line read 13.99 half sandwich soup or salad. We ordered two of those and the clerk said it's 14.99. I showed her sign... she said I'm not sure why saying 14.99. I ask to speak to a manager. A large unfriendly man who states he is manager comes up to counter. Said it's 14.99. I pointed to sign. He said it's 14.99. I said so sign is wrong... then wrong advertisement. He said no as the sign up above cook area is right. I said so you should give it to me for 13.99. He said no I will remove 13.99 sign and he did.. He was rude. The clerk who was friendly and professional. Looked at us like she felt bad her manager treated us like that.. She apologized! Took order. I asked if gave senior discount said yes. But forgot to give. On top of that made severel errors charged extra fee 3 times. So we got over charged almost 3 $ . I used lady's bathroom it is a pig room. TP ground broken toilet seat. Dirty! Even other customers agreed . Perhaps manager needs to keep up on things better. And get attitude change. We are the ones who keep you in business. When we got home they forgot to put on toppings on chili and soup..forgot dressing my chopped salad. Lucky the same nice clerk checked my bag. As forgot to give us dressing for other salad.. she did but gave us not what ordered. The place is dirty . The restaurant looks like manager. Big mess! Now i know why other one closed down in redlands.. I use to love this place. It's changed and with that change. Someone will end up sick from miss handled food. I would not recommend them.. and urge others to reach out to health department ...

Alyssa S. at the register (Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA) has by far the most horrible customer service experience I have encountered. I asked her to clean my table where we wanted to sit since most tables for party os four looked dirty. She refused to do it. She came and brought our food, and she placed the food over all the crumbs that were on our table, so asked again if she can please clean our table. She said she would come right back, but instead, she went to start helping other people. I finally got up and asked her if she can give me a wet cloth so that I can clean the table myself, she still refuses to assist stating she couldn't give it to me. There was a gentleman working near the kitchen area that witnessed what she was doing so he immediately offered to clean our table. Alyssa S. never bothered to come and say anything. I never tip a place until I am done with my food for these exact reasons, I want to know first how you are going to give service. Then my family and I thought, maybe because when I paid as I placed my order, I did not do the tip there. I had been to The Corner Bakery at another location a few times with my friends, and we like to leave the tip at the end on the table so not sure if that's what triggered her bad services. 1st time at Corner Bakery Cafe. Service seem nice and decent enough. It was hard to find sitting, management isn't prompt on having workers clean any tables. While waiting for my food I notice the server ask another guest if there is anything they can get them. The guest asked for a cup of water. The server came back for a cup of water and it was very pleasant. My food came, due to the inside being so crowded I didn't noticed were the water was and i just wanted to remain seated once I found seating. When the sever asked me If there is anything else they can get me I replied for a cup of water. My response from the sever was very rude. She smaked her lips and pointed oh you can get that yourself. When I asked why would you ask if I needed anything and not get me what I needed she replied because it's right through those doors you can get it yourself. When I mentioned I just witnessed you getting a water for another guest what makes me the exception. I received no response. I didn't receive the water nor enjoyed the rest of my experience.
