I have been here here 3x so Im def comfortable rating. Service was no biggy, I went during the week, not very busy. We order our drinks, drinks tasted watered down, in my party of 3, we all agreed to this. We ordered Fried Calamari, serving was small, very very greasy, but then again it is fried, but I have had a whole lot of Calamari from tons of places, so I am a bit dissapointed and will say, Ive had much better. The walnut salad I ordered was good well served and it was tasty, no complaint on this one. Our main enterees, hmm...I was surprisingly not very satissfied, nothing special with the flavors or portions. As I mentioned before I explore restaurants in many different areas and feel comfortable rating at this point with this restaurant It's not all that for the prices of their plates servings I hate to sound mean & picky, but I have had much, much better for my money. Would I recommend this place, if you Dont really care and you are not picky at all, I guess you might not be dissapointed. As for myself after my 3rd trial I dont think I will go back. I dont mind paying money, But it better have outstanding flavors. I love it when I can tell others to try a place bcs their food is delicious.Im all about referring friends and family, but like I said this place, hate to say it but I cant recommend it.It just does not make it to my go to place. Our entrees were each about $38 -$45, none of us were happy and none finished our plates. I brought left overs home, but ended up in trash. Btw, they serve you a big piece of bread with a tiny serving of a spoon size butter, having to ask for more I dont like having to be doing. I know what a high end, up scale restaurants are, but its not even about this, Victoria Gardens might be nice area to hang out, still the place itself and prices I dont think...
Read moreMy wife and I chose King's Fish House to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, and it turned out to be a delightful dining experience. We arrived without a reservation and opted for outdoor seating, which did require a short wait, but it was worth it for the lovely atmosphere.
Our host, Alexis, was a standout. She warmly greeted us and patiently walked us through the menu, making thoughtful recommendations. We appreciated her genuine enthusiasm for ensuring we had a memorable evening.
We decided to try the Macadamia Nut-crusted Mahi Mahi with Brussel Sprouts and Asparagus, and Alexis kindly suggested we share it. To our pleasant surprise, when our plates arrived, everything was already divided for us, saving us the hassle.
The food itself was a true highlight of the evening. The Macadamia Nut-crusted Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection, and the sides were equally delectable. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable.
As a sweet gesture for our anniversary, we were treated to a complimentary slice of Key Lime Pie. It was a delightful end to the meal, with a perfect blend of tartness and sweetness.
The only minor downside was the additional charge for the sides, which we didn't expect, but it didn't diminish our overall enjoyment.
Throughout the evening, Alexis continued to provide excellent service, making sure everything was alright and checking in on us without being intrusive. Her kindness and smiles seemed really genuine to us.
In the end, our visit to King's Fish House was a memorable one. The combination of outstanding service from Alexis and exceptional food made our Wedding Anniversary dinner truly special. We left with full hearts and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for another memorable...
Read moreFood is very good. The hostess girls are not very good. Not very attentive because there are many tables that are often empty and they do not walk around just make sure they are filled. We sat for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help us and saw several tables empty. We were only two people. Can't quite understand why they can't manage the front better. We noticed a lot of them just talking about lunch time and what they were doing for the weekend and not being very attentive to the empty tables. What a shame. Great overall restaurant...Great food... Terrible inattentive hostesses. This was not our first visit. We've been here several times and it seems to be the same issue. The girls on the front by the front door just don't seem care. Manager should be walking the floor regularly monitoring each table and addressing why each table does not have a person sitting at it. The hostess should be in charge of quick seating making sure EVERY TABLE is occupied. Business was turned away because the hostess girls said " we re not serving walk ins today ". I had made an appt. and could have been sat sooner as requested if the little girl would have stopped talking to her friends and instead..looked to her right ..or left...she would have noticed. The tables stayed vacant for 30...
