They know my face they basically know my order. They just wait for me to say confirm it as you guys know there was a national free smoothie day I did participate in that I went on the national free smoothie day and also got a buffalo chicken wrap it was so packed in there they were busy I got my smoothie and left. I get in the car and I’m drinking my smoothie. It definitely doesn’t taste how it normally taste. Something was off and there’s distance between tropical smoothies cafe locations and where I was so I did give a call and let the lady know like I know it’s national smoothie day and you guys seem kind of busy. Did you guys make my smoothie and someone else’s blender because it has a funny taste to it she said as long as you keep the receipt come back and redeem it. So when I did come back I felt like she was being racist in a way saying that oh a girl already came and redeemed that I specifically remember her. She got this this and this this and and I said okay but that wasn’t me someone else could’ve called and had the same complaint, but I know for a fact that I did not come and redeem the smoothie yet. Read moreI love Tropical Cafe, both the food and the smoothies are amazing, however that being said the Rancho Cucamonga location is severely lacking!!! They have extremely poor customer service and are completely inefficient when it comes to orders! As someone who has been in the food industry before I try to be very understanding but the fact that when you are the only person in line and it takes them a while to even acknowledge you/ and or help you is upsetting and when I try to order food using the app to try to practice safe social distancing, they will leave you on the curbside for 20 minutes after you call the store, I wish I was exaggerating. The last time I ordered food the app said it will be ready by 5:27pm and I was still waiting after 6 pm while orders that came in after me were served long before me. The workers saw that I was waiting, asked what I was missing, lied about working on it, and then continued to instead to put my order aside to help newer customers. I have tried to complain in person about these issues and I received eye rolls and disrespect. I ask for a refund and instead I get told that there are no refunds and was given a voucher instead, when a real establishment would give me what I ordered, the vouchers and apologized for the ordeal.
