Asia Buffet — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

At first glance, Asia Buffet seemed to have some points going for it- from the filled seats throughout the restaurant to the prominent display of ample crawfish and crab legs at the front of the salad bar, the variety of sushi at the back, and the cartons of real ice cream nearby. The staff was friendly enough and O saw workers chatting with the customers on several occasions. However, one need only to take a bite of the white fish sashimi to discern its incredibly rubbery texture and lack of any natural sweet fish flavor. I couldn't even bite into the sea snail. Honestly, I've never eaten such a quality of seafood in my life. The crab was likewise lacking flavor but oily and fried to such an extent that the shell flakes off all over the meat. Much of the other foods tasted of the typical "meh" buffet fare- often too greasy and/or tasteless- from eggplants to cantaloupe and cake.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant was truly dismal at the time of my visit (a Sunday evening). The carpet throughout the restaurant was soaked, dribbled, and peppered with all manner of solids and liquids- try not to look too close. Definitely try not to drop things on the floor, but I hope for your sake that if you do, they don't need picking up. The food area likewise displayed too much food on its tiled floor, and that ice cream scoop? It was impossible not to prevent your hands from getting sticky touching it. :(

I would love to give a good review to this Buffet sadly the quality of the food isn't there. Food was dry, old, some of the items had a very strong smell of eggs these is unpleasant. The area of the warmers are dirty they can't keep up with cleaning up the area it's crucial to prevent any spreadable disease specially with the new dangers of the MONKEYPOX.

This is not just the responsibility of the restaurant also ours since we do not let the administration how we feel by not getting the proper attention to our health safety by an establishment who takes short cuts on following proper healthy regulation establish to protect us.

It is clearly understaff, place its Dirty restrooms are smelly been able to maintain a good clean environment it's a must at any restaurant and require by law.

I am only giving the establishment 2⭐s due to the fact the person who was serving us was very efficient and effective removing plates and very atten to our needs.

My review it's not to criticize but to create awareness to the owner of the restaurant definitely I will comeback, everyone deserves a second chance. Only than I will said if I recommend the restaurant or not. Fixing the things patrons don't enjoy specially related with food safety and quality it's a sing of appreciation from a well respected Business...

So, from what I saw as I was leaving the place, they were getting a delivery of frozen food and the vehicle that was delivering supplies was not refrigerated. So my best guess is that most of the food there is frozen and then heated up and served. And by the way it tastes, this assumption is pretty accurate. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend it to anyone. Last but not least, I love to eat chow mien and/or lo mien. What they were serving was a frozen cheap imitation and yes it was soggy and chewy. It seemed as if everything was under cooked or under reheated. Man......it was horrible. For the price, you’re better off going to Chile’s or Applebee’s. Yuk if I could give this place a negative stars I gladly would with out hesitation. Oh, almost forgot, I notified the waiter about the odd tasting coconut dessert, and all he did was nod his head and went to the back then as I was leaving he was laughing up a storm with the “rude female manager “ , I waited parked in front of store to see if they would go and at least to pretend to investigate, but nope they just laughed away that entire time I was watching.
