Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Rancho Mirage

We waited patiently outside and went in when others came out, only to be told to "go outside" in a very loud, rude voice. Eventually we were allowed to enter by way of wave. So we entered, and were told immediately to walk forward ( in a very military stern sounding voice) so we did ( I had three young children with me). I love this place. I mean, it's Ben and Jerry's. Despite the gimmicks found at many of the other ice cream places in the valley, you really have a hard time beating the quality and flavor of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. The only down side to this place is also the up side - It's convenient if you're already at The River for dinner or a movie or something else, but if you just want to stop by and get a quick ice cream, you have to park and make your way over to the place, which on a busy night can be be a bit of a process and take a little longer than you would prefer. As someone who has struggled really hard this year with metal health problems, your associate made me feel more calm in a public place then I've felt in months.
