Wendy's — Restaurant in Rancho Mirage

I walk in, hungry and sick, my bike being my only means of transportation. Lo' and behold, the Wendy's girl in the distance. I ride towards the bright lights and try to find a bike rack. Alas, there was no rack for my trusty friend. Management was rude and didn't let me take my steed into the establishment. I lock her to a street sign out front. I feel as though my bike could get stolen at any moment. I order something to quell the growling of my stomach, a "Dave's Double". I wait on my burger and when I get it, I am disgusted, it looks like someone threw it on the ground and stepped on it. I contemplated leaving right away. I walked over to an empty seat, one of the only ones that weren't ripped at one of the only clean tables. I still ate my burger, but I learned a lesson from all this. I'll just eat at home instead. I got the Baconator combo. The burger was okay but I was not really that satisfied. From the picture it looks really big and what I got was a flat mess now I know that the burger usually never looks like the picture in the first place. But here it looks like they didn't even try. I mean it's supposed to be a really big burger and it's not. As far as the taste nothing spectacular at all. However it was not that bad either. The fries weren't very good much rather have McDonald's fries but then again Wendy's fries are never really that great. He customer service here was so so it seems more of an old fashioned Wendy's as they don't even have the soda fountain out for you to get free refills. This Wendys food has been nothing but awesome! The food always comes out fast and hot. We've only had problem with one employee over the years in that was recently like last month recently. Aside from the issue with that one employee the interior restaurant needs to be clean. It was pretty filthy the few times we've eaten there. So in my opinion it's best to go to the drive-through at this Wendys rather than eat in the restaurant. You might run into that rude employee who almost ran my wife over and didn't acknowledge the fact; she was also the same employee who has messed up a couple of our orders.
