I'd like to start out by saying that I actually got my meal delivered to where I work. The delivery was very fast I ordered my food @midnight and it was delivered by 12:30. I can't complain about how long it took for it to be delivered. It was fast. I've ordered from Juniors about a dozen times they're always pretty quick. My order was cooked correctly I ordered well done and they were well done. I got two Southwest burgers and tater tots with cheese. My order was also delivered correctly. I'd also like to say that since the last time I ordered they have a new thing that they do where you can get half orders on things like the tater tots french fries and other side items. This was really a great idea and I like it alot. With all of that being said I would like to say that I've always really liked Jr's like I said I've ordered there at least a dozen other times. This time for some reason things were different I'm not sure what's going on there but the burgers just didn't taste the same and there was hardly any sauce on the burgers at all they were very dry and the bun was very dry and there was really hardly any sauce so since they don't give you any sauce on the side the burgers we're very dry. Then there were the tater tots I'm not sure what the deal was with the tater tots they weren't horribly bad or anything they were edible they were crispy but it's just that they tasted like they were fried in oil that was used for other purposes. I don't know maybe they're using the same oil to fry fish and chicken and tater tots and french fries and onion peels and everything and that's probably not a really good idea because it was just kind of weird my tater tots taste is kind of fishy. I also wasn't really happy with the Cheez Whiz they give you to dip them in. I don't know if it was cheese whiz or what it was but it was some type of cheese that didn't taste very real. It was very hard and pretty much impossible to dip the tater tots in but when I did dip the tater tots in it and it also had a very strange taste. I don't know I don't normally eat cheese whiz maybe that's what it's supposed to taste like. Anyhow I didn't like it. Everything I got was edible it's just that the total for my order was $17.03 and that's a lot to pay for two sliders and a half order of tater tots. So I'm not quite sure what's going on with the juniors in Red Bank right now. Like I said in the past I've always been very happy I think it'll be a while before I order some food from them again. Maybe they've got some new people working for them or something I don't know. Anyhow I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're going to order from Juniors in Red Bank right now at this point in time maybe don't order anything deep-fried. And maybe pay the $0.50 to get an extra cup of sauce on the side just in case your burger is extremely dry. Fast forward to January 20th 2018. I wish that I could give this place no stars but I'm going to try to downgrade to 1 I originally gave them 2. I ordered food again after 4 months and I ordered it well done. I definitely put well done on my order. The burgers came rare. I had to microwave them before I could eat them. Junior's has really gone downhill I can't recommend at all and I will no longer be ordering anything from them. Almost $15 later and...
Read moreThis is my third time ordering from here to my job. We get about 3 meals at a time. Each time they have messed up our order or forgotten something. It is pointless to call and complain because they take over an hour to get here every time.
Reviews for food just today...
Buffalo chicken wrap: the chicken was over cooked and the ranch was blobbed on in the center, it was very dry and there was not much taste. Only positive thing was there was a good amount of chicken.
Taco Wrap: We asked for the sour cream and salsa on the side and when it was delivered we had neither, therefore leaving the wrap to be very dry. The order was taken properly because it was "ON THE SIDE" on the receipt but we did not receive any. Also the "seasoned" beef is not seasoned at all, extremely bland. Positive... the wrap was actually wrapped nicely.
Flounder Jr: Not much too it. There was 1 piece of flounder cut it half and the flounder was semi overcooked.
Curly fries with cheese: This was the only item we actually enjoyed, and all it was only curly fries and cheese wiz.
Needless to say this will be our last time ordering from this restaurant. They are WAY WAY WAY too expensive especially for the VERY SMALL amount of food that they give you and they also take WAY too long to deliver. We were hoping third time would be a charm but...
Read moreI cannot imagine why anyone has a bad word to say about Jr's, which is easily the best delivery joint in town.
My favorite is the Three Pepper Bacon, two ground sirloin sliders with pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapenos, sauteed onions, crispy bacon, and chipotle mayo. They're REALLY SPICY, but that's how I like it. My boyfriend, who's not as big a fan of the heat, likes both the Maui Jr (topped with grilled pineapple, melted mozzarella, smoked bacon, & BBQ sauce) & the Spicy Crispy Jr (two breaded chicken tenderloin sandwiches with melted swiss cheese, lettuce, & fire sauce - spicy but not as spicy as mine!) He's a fry guy, & I'm obsessed with their onion petals. A WHOLE BOX OF THEM? Oh my God, my arteries. I can feel them closing, & I don't even CARE. That's how delicious these meals are. I haven't tried any of their wraps or healthier stuff, but, um, I'm glad those options exist.
The only downside is that delivery always takes awhile - usually a full hour - but I like that you can order & pay online, which almost ensures a not-messed-up order, & their usual delivery guy is really nice. As long as you're prepared for the hour-long wait, Jr's is THE BEST CHOICE for a delicious, indulgent, not-greasy delivery...
