Franz Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in Redding

Well this is a great place to meet all of your bread needs. They have a very large selection of all different types of bread that you will find at all the local grocery store but usually at a cheaper price. They also have a cool program that let's you get a punch card after spending $10. It allows you to get up to 5 free items off their discount rack. It's really a great value. They even offer a 10% senior & military discount. The staff is great too. I go there twice a month and spend about $100 for a local food bank, even though its probably a hassle when I come in they are wonderful. I would highly recommend this place besides your probably already buying their bread at the grocery store why not pay a cheaper price and get free stuff too. It's not cool that they let 1 lady push her way in to buy all (racks and racks) of the good discount stuff. She must have a store or shop. But that shouldn't mean she gets VIP service. It's rude and she pushed passed me on 2 different days. Then she asked for other stuff to be the sale price and she got it. Good quality products every time except this last visit. On our last visit, we purchased two garlic bread loaves and brought them home to bake. However, upon opening them we noticed they were both VERY moldy. We checked the expiration date and they expired 12 days ago. While we should have checked the date before buying, it is Franz's job to assure their stock is rotated out properly so moldy bread doesn't get sold...
