I heard lots of good things about Casa Rios on Facebook. We decided to give it a go on a Saturday evening. We arrived and were seated quickly. Unfortunately they were pretty busy - there were a few open tables (this is around 6:30PM) but the wait staff had their hands full. This was the only reason I took one star away from Service. Our waitress didn’t get to us for around 15-20 minutes. After she took our drink order, things moved along well! Our friendly waitress (Natalie) brought us a nice size bowl of thin, crispy tortilla chops and a bowl of refried black bean dip and salsa. The chips were great! Crunchy, fresh, nicely salted. The bean dip was also a nice touch. The salsa - perfect. Not too spicy, a little tangy - refreshing. Natalie noticed we went through the salsa pretty quickly and brought us another! Time for the main course. We ordered a Santa Fe Chicken Salad and Chile Poblano Campestre. When the food arrived (fairly quickly) the salad arrived first. It was huge! A big bowl of fresh mixed greens, lots of black beans, corn and a mountain of crispy chips and chopped grilled chicken. The Chile Campestre was just as impressive. A large battered and lightly fried poblano pepper covered in a spicy, rich red sauce and a lot of diced grilled chicken. On the other half of this large plate, there was a generous portion of mexican fried rice and creamy refried beans. Both dinner were excellent! The salad had so many great combinations of greens, corn, beans, sliced avocado, chips and chicken - it was one of the best salads we have had in a while. The Chili Poblano Campestre was also delicious. The red sauce was quite spicy - but much of it was next to the chili - perfect for dipping. The chicken and spices along with the cheesy fried poblano was hard to stop eating. Both portions were huge! We wanted to save a little for dessert, but it was much too difficult to stop eating ;-) Towards the end of dinner (we still had quite a bit left!) Natalie came over and apologized for the delay earlier. She also brought over some take out boxes for our leftovers. I couldn’t resist asking about the desserts, especially the Coconut Tres Leches. We ended up ordering one to go! By the time we got home, we decided to try a little of the Tres Leches. It was absolutely delicious. Lots of fresh strawberries surrounding a moist coconut white cake with a creamy light whipped topping - and coconut on top. Wow. Don’t miss getting it if it is available!!! Overall - the meal was top notch. We did have a wait a bit before being attended to - but it was well worth the wait!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Casa Rios Grill! The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentic — but what truly makes this place special is the heart behind it. Abe, the owner, is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. He and the amazing staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special, even coming out to sing me Happy Birthday personally with the crew. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture that really meant a lot. On top of that, today they hosted a fundraiser event and donated half the proceeds to help with our friend’s funeral expenses. That’s not just good business — that’s good people. If you’re looking for great food and even better company, Casa Rios Grill is where you want to be. Support this gem of a local spot. They pour love into everything they do. šŸ’›šŸŒ®šŸŽ¶

We spent a few nights in Redding and decided we wanted some cheese dip. Casa Rios was highly rates so we went. As a group of two we were seated right away. Margarita was delicious. Salsa and black beans came with the chips. We added queso. Portions were LARGE. Neither of us finished our meals, but the chips and dips were gone. The staff was very friendly.

Abraham Rios is absolutely wonderful! We chose to have Casa Rios cater our wedding, since it's our favorite restaurant in Redding, it just made sense! Great communication, and overall an outstanding experience.

Dining in is always pleasant, and we always leave happy and full! But they really impressed my husband and I with the gorgeous set up, and delicious food at our wedding. We were lucky to have Abraham, and our favorite waitress to be at our wedding for us. We're so incredibly thankful for all their hard work, and kindness, all of our guests were so impressed as well. Everyone loved the high quality food, and service! You two just added so much joy to our special day šŸ¤šŸ™šŸ¼ huge thank you to everyone who helped!

We highly recommend letting Casa Rios setup and cater...
