I love a good deli sandwich. (My favorite is Erik's Deli in the SF Bay Area. NO one including you guys holds a candle to them, but I digress.) Still, you have a convenient location to my work and I got a coupon in the mail a couple weeks ago so I figured the next time my wife didn't send me with lunch I would try you out for $2 off. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything seemed clean and fresh, and I was excited to try my first Jersey Mike's sub. Then I handed over my coupon and they said it had expired. Turns out it was true, it expired 4 days ago, Thursday, 3/15/18. I don't live nearby and don't work Fri, Sat, Sun, so this was the closest time I had to use it, and they said no way. So you guys spend all this money to send out coupons to try to get new customers, and then when one comes in 4 days later than when YOU wanted me to, you piss me off enough to never come back. So for $2, you lost my business, as many people as I can tell about my experience, and all of the bad reviews I will write on the internet. Seems kind of silly and backwards to me, being a retail manager for decades, but then I guess you guys are making so much money that you tell your employees that it's more important to follow the rules and lose customers and goodwill than it is to try to make people talk about how great it is that you bent the rules slightly (4 days, not a week, or a month, or a year, although if I was the manager of that location, the date would be irrelevant, no matter how old it was). Also, I actually thought the sub was pretty good, and probably would have otherwise returned had I received decent customer service by honoring a 4 day old coupon that you guys spent so much money on to get me to...
Read moreI'm new to the redding area so I was looking for a great sandwich place. Holiday market was pretty great. I was told, wait until you try Jersey Mike's. Well today I did. I sent my fiance in to get me a delicious sandwich, whatever looks good (he knows what I like). He said the reviews were correct about it being clean & great customer service, the meat they slice fresh, but that's about it. I opened up my sandwich to eat, it's full of lettuce, a couple tomatoes, very little meat & NO CHEESE?! I don't think I have ever had a sandwich, or wrap, that didn't have at least 1 slice of cheese on it. He was busy with a one year old so he just ordered off the menu, the Turkey wrap, not knowing what was or want on it, because I like ALL vegetables, ALL meats & ALL cheeses. Regretfully I haven't been THIS disappointed in a sandwich since SUBWAY. He also got himself the roast beef sub (because someone in the line said it was amazing), it ALSO wasn't. Very little meat. Very poorly made. I don't know how this has 4.5 stars, nothing was GREAT, OR GOOD, his was OK. I suggest going to your local Safeway, their sandwiches are EXTREMELY better & freshly sliced, same with your local Redding HOLIDAY MARKETs for less...
Read moreI’ve never reviewed any business before, but the service we got today made me angry. My family (four people) came in to get four sandwiches. No greeting, just met with rude attitudes and impatient employees. Both the blonde ladies working acted like they hated their jobs. There was no other people when we came, and as we ordered the lady making the sandwiches would rudely say “anymore sandwiches?” While there are two people in our party still. The poor guy training looked so nervous and whenever he did make a mistake they wouldn’t show him how they’d just passive aggressively do it for him. And in the end they messed up and charged us for bottled drinks instead of fountain drinks (they pointed it out) and instead of fixing the amount they charged they just gave us fountain cups and walked away. Honestly the worst experience I’ve had at a sandwich place, and it makes me not want to come back. Will try again another day in hopes for...
