I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I feel like I absolutely need to share the wonderful experience I had at Denny’s thanks to our waitress, Veronica. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. She greeted us with such warmth and friendliness that it instantly set a positive tone for the whole meal.
Veronica was attentive without ever being overbearing. She checked in at all the right moments—refilling drinks before we even had to ask, making sure our food came out exactly how we ordered it, and always with a big smile. She had this perfect balance of professionalism and genuine kindness that really stood out.
What impressed me most was how much care she put into the little details. She double-checked my order because I have a food sensitivity, and I could tell she really wanted to make sure everything was right for me. That kind of attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. She also took the time to engage with us in a way that felt natural—asking how our day was going, cracking a little joke, and just making us feel at home.
Even though the restaurant was busy, Veronica never made us feel rushed or like we were just another table to get through. She managed to juggle multiple tables with ease and grace, and every guest around us seemed just as happy with her service as we were. That speaks volumes about her ability to handle a busy environment while still giving excellent, personalized service.
Overall, Veronica truly went above and beyond. People like her are the reason customers come back—not just for the food, but for the experience. Denny’s is lucky to have someone who takes so much pride in their work and genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and valued. I left not only satisfied with my meal but also uplifted by the kindness she showed us.
If you visit this Denny’s, I highly recommend asking for Veronica. She’s a star, and she turned what could have been just a regular meal into a genuinely great...
Read moreGuess we came in on an off night. Had never been to this location. So it was our first visit. With that being said we've been to many other Dennys locations over the years. So we know what to expect more or less. Unfortunately we ended up getting a waitress who was having a bad day or just hates her job. Right from the get go, she was expressionless and seemed unengaged. As the night went on things just kept getting worse. We ordered hot chocolate, when we got them we noticed they tasted watered down but we still drank them. When we got to the bottom of our mug we were surprised to find 2 inches of chocolate powder. Literally powder not residue but all the powder. So she poured in a huge amount of powder, poured hot water on top, and added whip cream like it was ready to drink. She did it to all our drinks. So I guess she assumed we were supposed to mix it up ourselves with whip cream on top? Not sure. When we tried to order another one and explained how none of the chocolate was mixed in, she just stared at us with a blank expression. Did not acknowledge it all and ignored our comments. She gave another person a crinkled and smashed up straw. Then the most bizarre thing of all is she refused a tip. And to add insult to injury, the bathroom was completely trashed with paper everywhere, feces smeared, and made my friend gag, to the point where she didn't even use the bathroom because it was so disgusting. This is by far the worst Dennys we've ever been to. Like I said, based on the other reviews, maybe we just went in on a off night or our waitress was about to quit and just didn't care. But we won't be back. Oh and the rusty skillet I received my food on that made my meal taste like metal, was the...
Read moreThe other day, I had the most pleasant dining experience at the Denny's on Redlands Blvd! The food was like most Denny's food; it was served quickly, was served hot, and it tasted good. But I was most impressed with the service staff and the general atmosphere of the place. My server was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and personable. It made me feel so valued as a person. I came in that day to enjoy a nice breakfast and to also grade a stack of classroom papers I had brought with me. As I spent more time here, I began noticing that ALL of the staff were just as attentive and personable to all customers. I saw servers engaged in meaningful conversations with their customers. I even saw some customers hugging their servers! While I stayed for a couple of hours, I must have had at least 4 different servers come by to see if I needed more water or coffee, asking how my grading was going, and just being extremely warm and friendly. I commented to my server that the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. She motioned to most of the other customers in there and said these are all locals. They come regularly, they are known by name, and that it's "a family" I loved the concept of this so much! I thought to myself, this is a family that I would love to be a part of. Even though I do not live in the area, I am now planning to make this Denny's a regular place to visit. I still have lots of ungraded papers to get through., I might just go back this weekend to catch up with my grading and catch up with my...
