Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Redlands

It's true that the employees are kind...and that they apologize a lot. I would have given them at least four stars because while they're extremely slow, the pizza is good. But, then this happened a few months ago:

12:25 - I order a pizza on the app, it says it will be ready by 12:45, I wait in my car until then 12:45 - I walk in and the person at the counter says they're really sorry, but they're having staff issues and my pizza will be another 15 minutes 1:00 - I come back to pick up my pizza, he apologizes again and says it's going to be another 15 minutes 1:15 - I come back inside and he says it will be another 10 minutes, it's almost done, he says he's refunded my money through the app and says I should wait anyway because it will be ready soon 1:25 - Another employee comes out, apologizes, and says it will be yet another 15 minutes. I told her to keep it, I've already been there an hour, I'm late for work, and the other guy already said he refunded my money.

I'm late getting back to work, I have no lunch, and the $20ish I paid won't be available to me for at least a few days. Perfect.

Then it gets better: I never get the refund.

I would call, but I really don't want to deal with it anymore. It's a bummer because I really like their pizza, but I have other problems in life and I don't need to...

I recently visited Mountain Mike's Pizza and had the pleasure of being served by Preeti. From the moment we walked in, her warm smile and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

The buffet was impressive, featuring a variety of fresh pizzas that were not only delicious but also made with high-quality ingredients. Each slice was perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and generous toppings. It was clear that the pizzas were regularly replenished, ensuring everything was fresh for the guests.

The salad bar was equally impressive, offering a wide selection of fresh vegetables, toppings, and dressings. It was a perfect complement to the pizza, allowing us to create the ideal meal. Everything was well-organized and clean, making it easy to find exactly what we wanted.

Preeti's attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. She was always nearby, ready to assist with a smile and made sure our drinks were filled and our needs were met. Her dedication to providing excellent service truly stood out.

March 1st 2024 whoever worked the closing shift tonight is an awful employee. I wish I could give 0 stars for the serious lack of customer service and quality for value. My gluten free pizza was so small it was a ripoff!!! I was not happy with my purchase so I called to ask about a refund so over the phone I was instructed to bring the pizza for the refund. Upon arrival the man at the register was unwelcoming and immediately disregarded anything communicated over the phone and insisted my complaint "wasn't valid" and said this many times as l explained what is absolutely reasonable. My pizza is not worth $25 when it was 1.) made incorrectly and 2.) the smallest pizza l've ever seen and paid for. I even left a tip and my order was incorrect. The man working tonight had no concern for my order and insisted on refunding me for half my toppings instead of a full refund as I requested and agreed upon on the phone. My experience was HORRIBLE and if you find this review please know they are a complete rip off and don't count on any refunds from these people. Not a reputable company!!!
