first impression was that their host was extremely new, because upon seeing us he ran off to ask someone else what to do. he sat us in a very obviously busy section, our server was very overwhelmed with tables and trying to keep up with everyone’s requests. she came to our table a total of twice, to take our order and bring us food; she forgot our refills and never brought us more fries. i don’t blame the poor girl because absolutely nobody was helping her. it was clear to me who the manager was and they weren’t doing anything to help with the rush but instead were on their phone the whole time we had dinner. it seemed extremely disrespectful that the person in charge would put their employees and customers in that situation. it wasn’t just us, there were tables full of families constantly asking for refills they never got. we waited around for an hour after we got our food and no refills or questions or anything from anyone. they need more servers desperately. (& better management too.) i feel so sorry for that girl who was waitressing tonight.
the food was actually pretty good but a tad overpriced, but seems everything is these days so i didn’t mind the price so much. the kitchen works quick, our food came out in like 15 mins, but our service otherwise was non existent. i think this RR either needs stronger staffing or just more staffing in general. it’s very apparent to me as a former waitress that this place needs to work on...
Read moreRed Robin have always been and will still be my favorite american restaurant. This being said, the experience I had with this particular Red Robin is the worst I ever had in a restaurant. Drink served with no straw, food serve with no fork and knife. Sides not served. I asked for it, apparently there is none of that side there. At least I would have appreciated a waiter to tell me that. I had to call to ask for a replacement. The replacement was not what I expected (I wanted it sliced, no big deal), the waiter was gone to never reappear. I think the MC showed up, that when I was able to able fork and knife (astonished? Right? For a red robin). Finally got my sides served. But at that point, the food was cold. I asked myself whether I should just pay, walk out and leave the food or just eat it since I was there. The 2 stars are for the chef in the kitchen which food match the expectation of a Red Robin. Oh Have I mentioned that the place was half empty while there was three waiter on my sight just talking casually to themselves? Saddened on this level of service for Red Robin.
Manager, I hope you read this and just kindly remind your team to pay just enough attention required for a waiter, especially when an order is placed? Thank you.
Edit: 2022 update. Still not good....
Read moreThis is probably the most honest customer service review I have ever written. It might be my first one cause I usually don’t write reviews off Google unless my experience was really bad. I was here on 6/6 with my husband. There was no host by the door, waited about 8-10 minutes before we got seated. Someone was also waiting behind us. The restaurant at that time was quiet, not busy at all…
We waited for about 15-20 minutes for someone to get our order. Saw 2-3 workers/servers walk pass our table (including the server in our section) - yes, the server saw us because there were people sitting beside ours who were finishing up, and she came to give them their bill. Anyway, another table came after 15 minutes and got seated just right in front of us. After 5 minutes, the server took their order first before us… without acknowledging us. We left.
I have been coming to this place for years and never had this experience before. We decided to go to Applebees on 140th, guess what? The Applebee’s team acknowledged us right when we opened the door and treated us well unlike the staff here. I wonder if it’s because we are minorities? Eh, I’m not even gonna go down that road. In summary, if I can give zero stars for our experience at Red...
