Up until today one of my favorite lunch places in the area. Went there at least once a week for the past two years. My all time favorite is the Pesto Chicken Sandwich. It's served cut in half so you can perfectly see the bit-sized chicken strips.
For the first time today, mine were cold and clearly pink inside. It's chicken, so I decided to have the sandwich replaced. Better safe than sorry. Went back to the register to quietly tell them about it. Spoke to the manager in charge, an older male who seemed like he would actually be the owner.
Now, instead of acknowledging and being sorry for this, he first doubted that it's actually raw inside and showed me a plastic bag of chicken mentioning that "this is how we buy it and its already pre-cooked", obviously not realizing that the mistake could have been on the supplier side too. Showing him the pink chicken pieces one more time, he agreed to make me a new sandwich. Once I got it, he left with the words "I hope this does it for you".
Didn't say sorry once but actually made it sound like it's my fault. While these things can happen, the owners attitude is not only out of place but outright ridiculous. Got him that 1-star review and lost him a...
Read moreOrdered a Rueben, Pesto Chicken and a clam chowder. The rueben is always my go to. So disapointing! The "pastrami" did not taste like their usual pastrami. It tasted like roast beef or corned beef. Not of my liking. The pesto chicken is so bland as well. Did they change cooks? Or are you skimping on ingredients? Not cool. If you need to skimp on ingredients maybe just remove the item all together to avoid ripping off customers. This is unethical business behavior. This was my first time ordering a clam chowder from here. Never again. It did not look like the photo. It was runny, watered down and bland. The cup is not a full cup it is half a cup of soup. Why not put that on the description rather than cup. I hate writing reviews but had to on this one. I feel ripped off. I had to put some knor on the soup because I did not want to throw it out. $7 for half a cup of soup that is watered down and flavorless is a crime. I spent close to $40 with doordash. I always had good at Erik's this time...

Their practice of labeling each item with the respective names from the order streamlines the process, making it effortless for me to do my job well. They consistently provide all necessary accompaniments like cutlery, napkins, pickles, and more. Overall, a fantastic experience every time.
A special shout-out to Eric at the Redwood City location for his prompt assistance today, not just once but twice. Your support is genuinely...
