As a Venezuelan..... horrible. Absolutely terrible food. I was really hoping to satiate my nostalgia; however, when I went there I found myself with nothing but disappointment. I was the only person in the café ordering food and I ordered a pabellón plate, tequeños, and empanaditas. They initially got my order wrong for the pabellón. They gave me an arepa instead of a plate. If it wasn't because I was sharing the plate with my significant other, I would've left it as is. However, I proceeded to open the boxes to the other food and my tequeños were the most poorly cooked I've ever eaten in my life. They were soft and soggy (which if you've ever eaten one, they should be crunchy with the cheese melted inside) and the cheese inside was still frozen and cold. The empanaditas were also soft, as if they just chucked them into the microwave and to top it all off it had hair inside. Empanadas and tequeños should be fried or oven baked... this was far from it.

I took the food all back and showed them the food. The nice guy at the front explained that he made a mistake with the arepa but that he would let the cooks know of the issues with the other parts of the order. He also proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay the difference for the arepa versus the plate. Under other circumstances I would've, especially if the rest of my order was cooked properly, but that under these circumstances I would not. When they gave me the other food again, the tequeños looked the exact same, if not worse, the empanadas were still pretty terrible, soft, and tasteless, and the pabellón tasted like old meat.

Needless to say... NEVER AGAIN. Waste of...

I’ve been coming to this café regularly and usually enjoy the Spicy Maya hot chocolate—it’s close to my office and has always been a convenient stop.

However, today’s experience was disappointing. I ordered a large drink for myself and a medium for a friend. When the drinks were handed to us, I received a medium instead of the large I ordered. I politely pointed it out, but the person who made the drink simply printed the receipt and told me, “This is what you ordered,” without offering any solution or even acknowledging that a mistake might’ve happened.

I understand that errors can happen—maybe the cashier rang it in wrong—but the way it was handled felt dismissive and rude. I would have been happy to pay the difference to get the large I originally wanted, but I wasn’t even given the option. Instead, I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for...

5 stars for the drinks but the customer service was not it. Came in with my family of 5 and from the start we were being looked at by the staff in a weird manner as if we did not fit in for the setting or something, so definitely we did not feel welcomed.

Elderly Hispanic lady whom seemed like the lead(?) and the rest of the staff did not greet us nor thank us for our visit but did witnessed them being nice to the other customers in business attire. The elderly lady helped us in our transaction and seemed unwilling to sell the menu to us when asking questions like “what is the most popular drinks and stuff” all she had to say was “will it depends”. Someone obviously needs the “sell me this pen” sales 101 training.

When I paid for the transaction the lady walked away without saying thank you nor offering a receipt. Transaction took place today around...

I'm a bit iffy on this place, but my wife loves their tacos. The people are kind, the place is safe and cozy, being there is pleasant. The food feels very expensive for what you get, and even the pastries aren't very good in my opinion. It just feels more like you're sitting in a cleverly disguised Denny's, not a quaint little cafe. I got eggs one day and they felt like you got them out of a carton, though if they really were or not I can't say, the almond croissant was... very dry. Again though, my wife loves their tacos and insists that they don't overload you with food either, which I admit is a plus. I just wish the price reflected this. This place is ok, I'm just not too much of a fan. Our table was under the red umbrella outside so the pictures have a bit of a red tint.

Nice ambience. Friendly staff. Hope this place sticks around. Please give them feedback about their coffee; they only had dark roast and the latte was only ok. Please give them feedback about their crepes. I had a bad crepe experience and it was expensive ($17). They did refund me. Regarding crepes: you get a buckwheat crepe (which they don’t inform you of.) It’s folded into a giant square and not buttered and was slightly dry. Cheese is not melted; it’s chunks. They need to get their staff exposed to how high quality crepes taste and are made. (Don’t bring anyone French here... yet.)

So much space here and really good place to get some work done! I love the Coupa chain since it's just always so reliable and the drinks are good - pretty sweet drinks but I still like them a lot. I liked the pumpkin spice latte a lot - I'm generally a fan of the chai tea here and the pumpkin spice latte has it inside the drink. Overall this place was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon when I came so would recommend coming if you want more space too since there always tables available.
