(Newest Review Edited) This place has gone down in terms of expectations, the teas have been tasting too watered. The place has been receiving more overhype.
(Old Review Not Edited) Decent boba spot in downtown, it is a spot with the most talk going around. In terms of taste its not my favorite but cant go wrong with basics. This place is fairly hit or miss depending on who is working and what is ordered due to it's Corp policy. It is A little overpriced as 3 drinks with topings do go a little over $20 . Keeping this unbias, It is a good spot for people trying wacky ingredients (Mostly Seasonal Teas) or the classics (House, Thai, Jasmine etc.) I've tried All This shop's base menu and it was Ok as some drinks tasted similar while changing the sweetness and ice levels to get the "best" taste but everyone is different. Do recommend a try to anyone around keep in mind that they only have ONE SIZE.
Pro Tip: Always go for Less ice as it does not water down teas and they have room for more tea and boba :)
Personal review: I'm not a fan of this place as it is either Too sweet or Too watered but I usually go for Roasted Oolong with milk as it seems to be the most consistent...
Read moreMy all time favorite drink is Lady Bug but I literally have to beg the employees not to add any sugar to it, I know that itâs supposed to be part of the recipe and I do realize that you donât add any sugar that itâll be really sour which is exactly how I like it. I know for a fact that it is possible to make it without sugar, as a couple of times some employees where kind enough to skip that step for me and I was very grateful as it was delicious for me. But it takes an insane amount of time and energy to convince them to do something that simple and the last time the employee said ok but then I heard her say âjust add the sugar, they wonât notice it anywayâ to another employee and of course it was super sweet for me, I left that place crying. I just donât understand why itâs so difficult to make it the way I love it the most and I know itâs possible but they just donât care about their customers. Now I get ptsd every time I go to that place and I donât think I want to do it again, itâs just...
Read moreStill not completely decided on how I think about this place. After getting off the train from the CITY I strolled by this place on my way to see a friend. The shop was almost empty, the workers and what appeared to be their friends sitting around (mostly teenagers, just from a glance) looking and waiting for customers. I kept walking, because I was hungry, mostly thirsty for good Beer. I came back because I am always ready for good Boba and wonderful conversation.
Upon getting back to the place, I noticed the window and how foggy it was. I could not really make out people inside. I walked inside and immediately my glasses fogged up. I thought to myself â this place has poor circulation and everyone is breathing into each otherâs mouthsâ, GROSS! As for the Boba.... well it seems that standards can be a bit loose. While I will say itâs good Boba, itâs not the Boba my Mom...
