Club Fox — Local services in Redwood City

A great little Club located next to the big Fox Theater in Redwood City. This place is a godsend for local Blues enthusiasts who want to come out on Wednesdays get out and Stage and play for people. Go there on a Wednesday night blues jam and see these local folks in between the featured band. Locals getting up to hone their skills and skillfully play the blues where the locals Boogie The Night Away! Play like you've got something to say not something to prove as it says on the wall. This absolutely Dynamite little Club features local cover bands travel through musicians always good night of music entertainment at this place. It's places like this that keep live music going. It gives people that want to go out on any night of the week and have the thrill of hearing live music a place to go have a drink and relax. Always a welcome sight to see Ryan at the door skillfully moving the people through along with the rest of the staff to keep that place running like a smooth machine! This place is the heart and soul of downtown Redwood City!! I can't say enough good things about this place absolutely...

Club Fox has a small space one of the smaller clubs in the area. Although generally it's clean, doesn't provide for much of an atmosphere for events and other activities they may have. As an active member of a fundraising organization, the management at Club Fox certainly does not make for a good partner if planning some type of a non-profit related community event.

Other than that, it seems to be a somewhat popular of a local place for partygoers and nightclub attendees to see their local and sometimes not local bands perform. Prices at the door and at the bar or usually pretty fair. But oh it can be a challenge to get a drink as my last few visits I experienced that the bartender seem to be more attentive to specific clientele then the one at the opposite end of the bar trying to buy a drink.

My 1st visit to Club Fox on a Wednesday Night with the JC Smith Band…

What a fantastic midweek treat! Club Fox regularly features different bands throughout the week. The Wednesday evening of our visit they featured the JC Smith Band! It was nothing short of an incredible experience. Their music was outstanding, as JC Smith and his band brought a bluesy energy to the stage, captivating the audience from start to finish. Our drinks were both tasty and fresh, adding the perfect touch to an already fun evening.

The crowd was warm and friendly, coupled with the great old-school music creating a welcoming and dancing atmosphere that made the night even more enjoyable. From the incredible live music to the delightful beverages and inviting crowd, we wholeheartedly recommend Wednesdays at Club Fox. It's an experience you won't...
