Bella Lash and Beauty Bar is an important step in my beauty routine, helping me feel cool, confident and comfortable in my day-to-day life. I am not a person who spends hours in front of the mirror in the mornings. I get up, take care of my teeth and hair, give my eyelashes a brush, and we’re ready to go. Because I don’t wear makeup and I don’t use hair product or spend time “beautifying,” having lashes from Bella’s helps me feel put together without all of the hullabaloo women are expected to perform every morning in order to be taken seriously. All it takes is a little over an hour every 2 weeks and I can skip the drama.

Bella employs a skilled cast of regular artists who install lashes on their customers with care. I’ve bounced from artist to artist and they’re all thorough, careful, and skilled. Sometimes it’s so relaxing I find myself almost falling asleep while it’s going on! Customers can choose from different lengths, styles (cat’s eye vs open eye), and volumes (from regular to mega volumizing) for their lashes and then lay back and wait for the magic to happen.

Along with the lash refill, customers also get an under-eye mask applied while they wait, as well as personalized advice for how to take care of their lashes. When I was in early on, my artist noticed a lot of salt buildup on my lashes (I work out a lot), so she recommended a specific lash rinse for after my workouts. Another time when I came in for my appt, the artist was suggesting to the client before me who was just finishing up that since her lashes were slow to regrow that she might try a specific serum. They don’t sell them, btw, so they’re not gaining money by convincing you to buy their products, they’re just trying to help you take care of...

I've been seeing Jolie for about 3 months now and I LOVE the work that she does. My lashes look so great and as they naturally fall out, they do not look bad and retain their natural look.

For context, I've previously had my lashes done off-and-on over the years at several places all over the Bay Area and I wish I knew about this place sooner. The other places I've gone to use the fan clusters which are heavy and itchy.

Jolie uses these very soft individual lashes that are lightweight and don't itch. The glue she uses doesn't feel crunchy but the lashes stay on really well. I've gone swimming in a chlorinated pool with my lashes and it didn't affect how long they lasted.

Also, Jolie always checks on me throughout the appointment to make sure I'm comfortable. As a pregnant woman, this is really important because as I've gotten larger over the months I know that she'll be able to accommodate me if I get uncomfortable. Since I've gotten bigger since I first started seeing her, she always lowers the table and helps me to make sure I can get up safely.

The tables they use are nicely padded so it's really easy to get comfortable and even nap if you want to. They provide an elevated leg rest so that you can really rest in a comfortable position. I've never had an issue with my neck or head being uncomfortable when coming to get my lashes done here.

Overall, I feel like for the quality of lashes, service, and location, the prices they charge are very reasonable.

I've been going to Bella's lash and beauty bar regularly for over 4 years now. Let me tell you, I don't know how I manage without these extensions. For the first couple of years, Bella worked on my lashes, and let me tell you, she is great at what she does. She does them well, to your liking and she is efficient. For the past couple of years, Jolie has been my main technician. She is amazing! I am always happy with the result of her and Bella's work. Jolie is very meticulous and takes the proper time to give you amazing results and it shows. They are super kind and professional. I mean Jolie is getting a nursing degree and certified in skincare, so I know she knows her stuff and is a real pro. I love how they are very flexible and understanding as well. I have really bad allergy flare ups sometimes where my eyes get super itchy and I can't help rubbing them. That means most or sometimes all my lashes fall out, but when I go in for my refill they still only charge me the cost of the refill and not extra which I appreciate so much. When this happens my real lashes tend to be less and weaker, so I trust their recommendations when it comes to the size or how full the extensions should be. They do this because they want your real lashes to be healthy and grow as well as make sure your extensions stay on as long as possible. These ladies care and are not just here to take your money. They want the best for their clients, which is why I am a loyal customer and I always recommend them to friends, family, colleagues, strangers I meet haha. This is why I am recommending them...
