La Casita Chilanga has by far some of the best Tortas and Aguas Frescas, hands down! Both locations in Redwood City are amazing, but I like that this location has plenty of room to sit and eat comfortably. I am a huge fan of their Tortas Cubanas. The Torta Cubana comes in a Telera (CDMX style french bread) with pork leg, ham, breaded beef steak, chorizo and hotdog. And I know you thought I was done, but it is all topped with tomato, cheese, lettuce, caramelized onions, avocado, pickled jalapeños, mayonnaise and chipotle sauce. I know it’s a mouthful, but trust me when I say it’s a unique experience. I would say one of these tortas will suffice, but I share mine. It’s massive, a great price and does not disappoint. Even if the torta cubana doesn’t sound like your type, there are many other tortas and a variety of other delicious dishes available. My favorite drinks are their Aguas Frescas and their Cokes (glass bottle). My favorite agua fresca is the Horchata, but I have also tried and enjoyed their Agua de Tamarindo and Jamaica. Both are very refreshing. It’s a place you must visit when in Redwood City! You will not regret it. Attentive and prompt staff. Plenty of space to sit. Parking and bathrooms are limited.

I am dessapointed how this place can make a simple request. I wanted to try a torta with no Chipotle aoli, just mayonnaise and they refused to do it.when the base for the bolillos is mayonnaise, and they told me that they don't have mayonnaise in the house. I will never come back.I don't recomend this place.

Absolutely phenomenal! The horchata is delicious and goes right alongside my al pastor super burrito. That thing is bigger than my head there's no way I can finish it all in one sitting! I have been wanting Mexican for a long time and this really did the job and hit the spot!

The food Here is good, I love the Tortas! One thing that You should be aware of is the way the Charge for Your food. They will give You the total on a ticket that they only can read and with the total. ONLY WITH THE TOTAL!!! No individual prices for food, no tax amount!! And Beware again, if You have more than Five people in You table, it can be an infant, they will automatically add their tip in the total without them letting You know. Remember all they write on the Check is the Total! So You give them Your credit card, and they come back with the creditcard receipt, and now they give You the option to put in Your Tip!!! The only reason a found out was when I was home and realized that the total seemed high, called back and that's when I was told about them adding the Tip before I gave them My credit card. I do not like this, first off, they could tip themself 20%, and they know that ahead of time and not worry about giving You good service. Not letting You know ahead of time of the tip been added automatically is wrong! They know what their doing, and most of the time they poblaby get away with it. Called them back and they said that their was nothing that they could do! at least offer Me a Torta; wont be eating there again. Just seems intentional...

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE* Went in to get lunch the other day and while waiting I noticed the cook lady had no gloves and was handling different raw meats (Chiken, meat, chorizo) with her bare hands contaminating each one as she put her hands in different containers with different raw meats. She proceeded to scoop the potatoes with both bare hands and throw them on the flat griddle. She kept wiping her hands with a contaminated rag she was carrying. She touched everything with bare hands (onion bread, etc..) after handling raw meats. **PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE, they are gonna kill someone if they keep doing this. Very unsafe and careless in the way they...
