Normally, this is the location where my family orders Capriotti’s. We have many, many times. I tried calling them three times yesterday to see if they were open today, and only got a busy signal. So, based on the availability to order our food online, and their listed hours of operation for pickup, I placed our order online today. The credit card was accepted by my card service, but declined by the restaurant. Three times. I tried to call and place the order over the phone. Twice. It only rang. I called their Sparks location and was told this location was indeed open, but perhaps they were short staffed and their internet wasn’t working. Yeah, no, they were rejecting the charges and refusing to answer the phone. If you’re understaffed and overwhelmed, you shouldn’t be open. I’m working in an essential business in this terrible climate we’re in right now too, but I’d never refuse to answer the phone during business hours, especially when my store, as does Capriotti’s, limits the amount of people inside at once. If you’re doing that, you have time to pick up the phone, apologize and refer us to a different Capriotti’s that isn’t as overwhelmed. We ended up calling the Sparks location back. He took our order over the phone, was flipping awesome, and kind. We love the food. It always gets 5 stars, and we will definitely be ordering Capriotti’s again. From the...
Read moreYou would think that in 2025 businesses would know how to delegate their services properly. You know... things like if there is a front desk worker that makes the sandwiches, they also pour the drinks for their customers. And since this is food safe law and it is federal it is right and just.... Capriotti's just thinks that most Uber drivers and doordash drivers are significantly ignorant. However, I'm not. Uber's policies for your restaurants are that you pour the drinks. Important reasons like Sanitary reasons and the law. Since you have decided to ignore what Uber has laid out before you as well as food safe laws. I will no longer be delivering for you and you will no longer be delivering your goods to me. also since I have seen this from every capriotti's in town. I know this is your policy for corporate and is at least city wide. This is unjust and I don't care how menial it might be to you. Fix it. Your business should not be doing unfair and unjust practices with the drivers that are independent contractors that do not work for you. Your workers ARE paid to make drinks. Therefore they...
Read moreI’ve ordered from Sierra location several times and will no longer go here even despite a corporate complaint, as I don’t believe giving me a free sub has changed anything at this location. I would have fired the manager and cook who worked the night my bad experience happened had it been my store to ensure this type of thing is not hurting the customer. I nearly ended up in the hospital because of an American cheese allergy. I SPECIFICALLY requested a different cheese choice 2x now and have been ignored. They NEVER answer the phone and this location is mostly staffed by college kids who could care less about the customer. It shows as the cook spent more time watching the baseball game on tv and ogling the college girls and talking about getting donuts over paying attention to his orders. I would remove the tv as obviously it is a distraction to the staff. Avoid at all costs or go to different location if you have medical concerns or go to Jersey Mikes which have been impeccable at ensuring your order is correct and make steak sandwiches that are just as good...
