Dolce Caffè Midtown — Restaurant in Reno

This lovely Italian cafe is a hidden gem in midtown. The front entrance and understated menu don’t do justice to the quality and nuance of the food.

We’ve enjoyed both the breakfast and later day bar menu, and the owners are warm, friendly, and passionate about everything they produce. (You can also find a more expansive menu at their original location in northwest Reno.)

They are not as focused on current marketing and tech, and have had their hours wrong on Google. I think that’s what happens when you have people focused on the food first! They are actually open Tuesday-Sat in the morning from 7am-2pm, and reopen from 4pm-9pm for exquisite drinks and a light menu.

We love local small businesses and hope our neighbors will show up and help this new midtown...

This is like walking into a bakery from Italy - this reminds me of places I have been too in Sicily.
