I can honestly say I will not be getting food from here again. They are so hit and miss, but this last time they were way off the mark. Went through the drive thru at around 2:30am. and couldn't find nachos on the menu. I asked if they indeed had them, in which I received a curt "yes" and nothing more. Awkward silence, so I just ordered two orders of rolled tacos- one chicken, piled with 'the works'. And the other beef with just cheddar cheese. Pulled up to the window, and it was obvious we were being racially profiled. Now, I would not make such a bold statement if it were not true. I know what 'that' looks like, because it's happened to me before (I'm not going to get into specifics, please trust me on this one...) Also, to confirm what was already evident. She let us know by her tone and disposition she did not want to be bothered with us (husband's observation). We waited several minutes for our food, and with all of that happening, I still tipped her $4. We don't live too far from Roberto's, but we started eating in the car on the drive home. And to our disappointment and dismay, we bit into the first couple tacos and the middle of them were cold. And I don't mean cold like it sat for a moment and got cold. I mean cold, like it was not thoroughly cooked through. They were obviously Frozen when they made their attempts to heat them up. And to add insult to injury, both orders of rolled tacos were cold in the middle. And to go back and complain about it would have been pointless, based on the way we were initially treated. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews. I would prefer to lift a business up, instead of telling people about my cold food and the (potentially) racist drive-thru server. I just hope that this is seen by Roberto's and they correct the issues at hand, so no one else has the experience...

I usually go to the location downtown but decided to go to this one because I live closer. Me and My partner ordered 2 burritos 2 horchatas n 2 churros for 40$ and not 10 seconds after ordering i remembered they put avocado on them so I tried to get the lady's attention and ask her if she could ask to not put it on there bc im deadly allergic. She said "there gonna be done" and watched the guy roll it up and I said is there any way I could get one without and she said no and bagged them up and handed them to me.. and said they're ready. And she went to walk away so then I was like wait hey can I order a new one since u wont remake it? And she was annoyed and obviously didnt care i told her the one i already purchased would kill me, which isnt her fault ig so I was like ok whatever she's tired blah so I ordered the same thing without avocado and she was annoyed at me it seemed she then walked away and a very nice lady that worked there asked if I needed help I then said oh Im just waiting on my order and she walked away and the lady that took my order was nowhere to be seen and they kept ringing the bell that they had for her to give it to me and she was sweeping the dining room looking at them while they tried to get her attention and then finally the same really nice lady came back and gave it to me and apologized about the wait which I didn't care about I just wanted to make sure I wasnt gonna die today. I just wanted to share my experience. Allergys arent a joke and it would've been really nice if she could've just remade it instead of me paying a extra 11. on my 40$ order but...

Don't bother. - 5/10 actually disgusting. Ordered a Carnitas plate it's full of dried meat bits or just full chunks of fat, the beans look like they died maybe a decade ago. I don't think I've ever seen refried beans this white colored, explains the lack of flavor. Ordered each of the tamales, was not aware that they were going to be completely smothered in an enchilada sauce, I actually love enchilada sauce but it seems like they're covering the tamales to make up for the fact that there's very little going on with the flavor and they have just the smallest bit of meat filling them. We also ordered shredded beef fries, I found five bits of shredded beef otherwise there was so much juice that the fries are just mush and it's basically just this mess of wet potato that doesn't look like it was fried fully and then covered in a very Bland guacamole and so much onions and green pepper that it just hid the fact that there wasn't actually more than five bits of beef in the entire plate Ordered delivery via their website, usually that means the drivers get paid better and get to keep the full tip Etc, versus ordering with doordash. In the end this is set up as storefront door Dash so you're not able to review your awesome drivers. Leave feedback or take any other kind of action towards your order whilst ordering via the storefront. And this cost me $75!!

Thankfully my driver recommended the taco trucks in Sunset Valley which we are going to hit before leaving town in a...

I've had good experience with Roberto's downtown and this location is just as good. I was really excited to see that they opened a location closer to me, and even better that they added a drive-thru! The downside, however, is that prices here are more expensive than the ones downtown. On the upside, this location is like three times bigger, clean, and friendly. There's people constantly coming in, so at least it shows people are interested. As for the food, it's great. I got a torta and it was filled with plenty of meat. The tacos here are also very good - especially on Wednesdays, when they're half price. The salsa bar offers good options. Overall, a great improvement but I would have liked to see the prices remain the same. I'm definitely coming back.

These are not small tacos or burritos. The prices seem high but the portions are fairly big. I've kept coming when in the are because of their lengua. It is one of the best if not the best lengua as far as softness. The salsas are not bad and the salads bar is great with carrots that seems to be made in house in escabache. I haven't tri d many other itemsvesides burritos and tacos. You order at the counter and pick at the counter. They're open until late hrs of the night and are quite busy most of the time inside and drive thru. These restaurants have a long history. I would definitely recommend give them a try. The restaurants are not fancy but are nice and quaintly decorated. The lengua is 5+ stars.
