Well established chain taco shop. Most locations are in San Diego and Las Vegas. Very busy, very popular. If you want the good stuff, wait in the long line. I was born and raised in San Diego and used to live around the corner from Roberto's#3. First Roberto's taco shop in the chain. This is the real deal. No tiny burritos with beans rice and lettuce. Big burritos with meat, Pico de Gallo and guacamole. Just like back home. That being said, this is not really fast food, it's comfort food. If you want fast, look elsewhere. If you want the authentic flavor of real walk up taco shop Mexican food, it's here. The line is long and last time I looked they weren't open 24hrs yet. The demand is still much bigger than the supply. I met the Roberto's chain owner. All ingredients are the same as the other locations. No corners cut here. Parking is horrible. Parking has kept me away from other businesses in this same place. Insider tip, park at Walgreen's and walk over. It's only a matter of time before another couple Roberto's taco shops pop up in the Reno area.

I hadn't seen this little place before, so I decided to try it. I almost didn't simply because of appearance. It's really small, they only had like 4 tables that hold 4 people; it's not in a good place, and (this sounds really bad) they were allowing a homeless person to hang out inside (with a cart that had trash/junk on it) and dig through the little salad bar they had. I decided to ignore that thinking it's probably not a common occurrence, and got my food to go. The food was actually REALLY good. I got nice sized portions for a really good price. Cool thing was that I was able to stand and watch the cook make the chimichanga and rolled tacos I ordered. I'll probably end up getting food to go from this place again.

This tasty little taco stand serves up lots of traditional treats at reasonable prices. Whether you're craving enchiladas, burritos, menudo, tamales, or, of course, tacos, Roberto's has got you covered. Combination plates provide the ordered item plus beans and rice, but items can be ordered a la carte if you don't want the sides. Roberto's offers fountain sodas but also has horchata and hibiscus tea. You order your meal at the counter and can take it to go or dine-in. It's a small venue, so don't go with large groups unless you're taking your meal to go. Definitely worth checking out if you love traditional Mexican food.

I went to Robertos for the first time with my 8yr old soon and we decided to eat there. After ordering while waiting for our order my son said he needed to use the bathroom. When I asked where there bathroom was I was surpised they told me they had no bathroom, so I asked when you or other employs need to use the restroom where do you go let me use the employ bathroom that they use cause my son had to pee again they said they had no bathroom for us to use. Surpised and disgusted I asked to speak to a manager they said he wasn't in so I asked when they would be in they said they did not know, at that time they gave me my order but i was so disappounted they had no facility for paid customers to use and so disgusted with them I demanded my money back. I have not ever ate at a restaurant that did not have a bathroom for paid customers who eat while they dine at there place. I will not ever go back and I will be calling the health dept inquiring how they passed inspection, got health permits and a business license and not have a restroom for paid customers to use. Every place I've ever eaten at has always had a restroom availble for paid customers. This is the 1st estaestablish I've ever eaten at that did not provide a restroom for customers to use. I was disappointed, disgusted and furious with how they handled my situation and how they denied me access to a bathroom by telling me they had no bathroom I we could use and that they did not know when a manager would be in or give me a phone number to complain to management, so I told them that I will be contacting the proper authority (health dept) to complain about not having or allowing me access to a restroom availble for paid customers to use. If they have no bathroom for paid customers to use then where do the employs go if they have to use the bathroom? They would not give me an answer instead they kept saying we have no bathroom for you to use. Not only will I call the health dept but I'm calling the local news station to voice my experiene with Robertos taco shop and let them as well investigate...

IF YOU WANT TO BE POISINED AND MISTREAED, eat here!

As a grabdmother of a mother of two who where laid up violently food poisoned by robertos food, I'm appauled. I am deeply dismayed by the handling of my daughter's recent incident at Roberto’s. After consuming their food, which made her and grandbabies violently ill, Roberto’s refused to refund her $27, despite her providing clear evidence of the purchase and subsequent illness and being told by their staff that this was protocol.

Most people in her situation would have reported this serious food safety issue to the health authorities immediately. Any responsible restaurant owner should prioritize customer safety and satisfaction above all else. A loyal customer like Kristina deserved not only a prompt refund but also an apology and perhaps a gesture of goodwill, such as a gift card, to restore trust and demonstrate genuine concern.

Roberto’s, your failure to address this situation appropriately is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Treat your customers with the respect and care they deserve, or risk losing their trust permanently.

Read her review before you eat there! And robertos, the best advertisement is word of mouth and you just essentially humiliated and poisoned over 20 family members alongside Kris when you did what you did. I plead with you to change your ways and when she comes back to speak with your staff who blatantly lied to you on her behalf, that you do...

THEY WILL MAKE YOU SICK AND THEN BLAME YOU!

Hey everyone, I’m writing this on behalf of my bestfriend Kristina, and you need to hear about what happened to her at Roberto’s. So, last Friday at 8 AM, she bought three breakfast burritos without potatoes, thinking Roberto’s was still the bomb. But no, those burritos made her and her two kids, ages 8 and 10, violently sick for two days. Seriously, it was a nightmare.

I was there helping nurse them back to health. The next day, Kristina called Roberto’s at 2:16 PM and talked to a woman named Leticia, who claimed to be the manager. Kristina explained that they barely touched the burritos and got food poisoning. Leticia told her to bring the burritos back anytime for a refund. Sounded easy enough, right?

Wrong. When Kristina finally felt well enough to go back, the staff didn’t believe her. She even showed proof of her order and the call, but they called Leticia, who totally denied ever promising a refund. Like, what?

Roberto’s refused to refund the $27, even though their food made Kristina and her kids so sick. They completely dismissed her complaint and didn’t care at all about their health. This is beyond unacceptable!

Guys, everyone needs to know how bad Roberto’s food safety and customer service are. Kristina trusted them and got completely screwed over. It’s humiliating and distressing, and everyone should know the risks of eating at Roberto’s....
