Taco John's — Restaurant in Reno

Before I get started here I want to let you know the One Star rating is for the service not the food. The food here is excellent and as of right now it may be the ONLY reason I might continue to come back. We pull up to the drive thru ( Flashes of Lethal Weapon 2 going thru my mind) and make our order, pull up to pay and get our order and the girl on the cash register has me sign, no big whoop, but as I go to pass her back the merchant copy and the pen, she is trying to hand me two drinks and folks you know you've got only really one arm that can reach so I try to slip the receipt and the pen on to the window will and she pins the paper but the pen rolls off and onto the asphalt outside and I dont have enough room to open my door and retrieve it. She tells me it's fine they have others. Then after 3 minutes the manager sticks his head out saying its not my fault and he'll come out and get it later. Seriously the girl complained about mr trying to help her out when she was jumping the gun to hand me my drinks her hands full unable to accept the merchant copy which they need to bill my account for the food. I've never been so insulted in my entire life. If that sort of thing continues even the food wont bring me back here for much longer unless they happen to open another Taco...

I've been going to this place since I was in high school and it's still one of my favorite fast food places to go to. Their potato olés with nacho cheese sauce are to die for! The employees are friendly and good with customer interaction. They are a little bit pricey but not too bad and I found out they charge .10¢ for a cup of water when a homeless guy was trying to get something to drink which I think is kind of ridiculous but it's not that big of a deal just kind of odd I guess. Speaking of homeless people, there is quite a few in that area, one day while in the drive through 3 homeless guys walked up to my car and asked my friend if we had any money and had they not been so aggressive and bold we would've bought them something to eat but the way they approached us and how demanding they came of it scares me friends so bad she rolled up the window and wanted me to leave without getting our food. So be careful while in that neighborhood. Not all homeless people are that but if you're a female alone I recommend keeping your windows rolled up and staying in your car unless your in a little up...

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at your establishment. During my visit, we waited in the drive-through for an extended period of time as the employee ahead of us was unaware of our presence. For about 10 minutes, we could hear the employee talking to another employee bad mouthing the pervious customer, completely ignoring us. Once we were able to place our order, we requested to speak with a manager. However, the employee refused to let us speak with one, citing that the manager, Scotty, was on break. This behavior was completely unprofessional.

We have recorded the interaction and will be escalating this issue through the appropriate channels. We are deeply concerned about the treatment we received and believe that the employee involved should be held accountable.

I expect a prompt resolution to this matter and hope to receive a response from someone who can address this...
