I ran out of restaurants in Susanville, so Im gonna have to branch into Reno. This delicious breakfast place closes by 2pm every day, so you have to wake up early if you want to try it! #fyp #foryoupage #onlyfoods #foodtok #restauranttiktok #reno #washoecounty

Had the ultimate breakfast/lunch experience at Two Chicks in Reno! 😍 The Country Bene was a knockout — I couldn’t get enough! Also, don’t miss out on their red chicks scramble, poutine, green chilaquiles, and chorizo omelette. Everything was delicious! 🥞🍳✨ The service is top-notch, with welcoming staff and management that truly make you feel at home. With two locations, make sure to reserve a spot on the weekends, as they can get pretty busy! Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area. 📍5851 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502 #TwoChicksReno #BreakfastGoals #RenoEats #brunchvibes @TwoChicks

Ordered the Country Bene as-is, then ordered two extra poached "local" eggs. You can really tell a difference between their regular vs local eggs. Local eggs were larger and fresher taste. Sausage gravy was good, sausage patty was good as well (I had the choice between sausage or ham). My only issue, just a personal preference, was the buscuit was too big. I'm not much of a bread eater. But if you really like big biscuits, this is your thing! My wife ordered the 1/2 Order of Biscuits and Gravy. Het biscuit was also very large, but there was plenty of sausage gravy to offset it. She really liked her meal. My dad ordered the Salmon Omelet. It was a good size omelet. He enjoyed it and ate most of it, which is good for him! The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. They have an open kitchen, five chefs in there seem to work very well together. I watched them for several minutes putting out great looking food, one after another, and nothing came back! The place was very busy, it was a Saturday morning, after all. My daughter lives here in Reno and she loves the place! It's her go-to place when hosting friends from out of town. Definitely would eat there again!

Good but not life altering Biscuits and Gravy - Definitely homemade biscuits... a bit too thick and dense but overall still good. Sausage gravy had a good flavor with a hint of heat. I personally didn't need to add any pepper. BFF thought it was missing some seasoning. We'd both get it again but wouldn't feel like we missed out if we didn't. Burrito - BFF enjoyed the burrito especially the melty cheese. I thought the pico was over powering. Pancake- Little guy was a big fan of the sourdough pancake. BFF and I didnt like the syrup. Bacon - Strong smokey flavor with a mix cooking consistency. I personally like crunchy thick bacon so a bit bummed. Orange juice - Fresh squeezed and naturally delicious. Hour and 10 minute wait, right at the estimated wait time. They had a cool online queue that updated your place in line. Inside was a simple modern diner type atmosphere. We sat in a quiet corner. Service was good. All in all, I'd go back but I wouldn't make a special trip to Reno just for Two Chicks.

*Read on for 2nd visit update* 1st visit: Friendly, smiling, great menu selection. Sit inside or outside with a view. My meal was superb! 2 months later… reduced stars. Husband ordered pancakes and they were doughy. Nothing special. I had Eggs Benedict with veggie fritters as a substitute for the muffin. Hollandaise sauce was a hugh disappointment. No trace of lemon. Tasted kind of like weird flavorless cheese sauce. It was served cold. Veggie fritters were simply finely shredded veggies lumped into a pile and cooked with no oil until they burned on each side. This time we sat inside. It was better to sit outside last time. Inside is concrete and metal decor and the volume of everything was much too loud. There is nothing to deaden the echoes of noise. I think that the next time I am in Reno I will try a different breakfast place.
