Tahoe Beer - Blonde - $5
5.5%/16oz our tahoe blonde ale is a crisp, light, and refreshing golden ale. German and czech hop varieties along with munich malt give our blonde ale a floral nose and rounded flavor and body. This is our go-to summer beer; easy drinking with a relatively low alcohol by volume.
Tahoe Pale Ale - $5
6.0%/16oz a tribute to the many great american pale ale's that came before it. Big, beautiful hop aromas are immediately evident on the nose. On the palate it begins with a dry, citrus note and finishes with a slightly toasty, refreshing character. It's simple, golden to slightly amber hue embodies what we feel an american pale ale is.
Tahoe Amber - $5
6.4%/16oz our surprisingly complex amber ale is one of our favorites in the lineup. Rich, caramel notes dominate the nose, while northwest hop varieties balance the sweetness. Subtle chocolate and toasty malt flavors make up the body of the beer. With its elegant amber color, accentuated by the creamy off-white head, we believe it truly embodies the tahoe beer spirit.
Dirty Wookie - $7
7.1%/16oz imperial american brown ale with notes of chocolate, toffee and raisin.
Apparition Double Ipa - $7
9.2%/14oz a well balanced beer where malt meets hops, brewed with simcoe, amarillo, citra and cascade hops. Very citrus-y and piney.

Gose "Hate to see her leave, love to watch her gose" - Tasty, you get a hit of the raspberry. A must try while you're here. Berry White - Wheat Beer with strawberries added. This is a must try and must try to sneak out with a growler or bring a ziplock to pour it into to take home. Not kidding, this is an amazing beer. Probably one of the best wheat beers I have tasted ever. You can head next door and get it canned if you want. The Dirty Wookie - a brown ale that is pretty tame and drinkable. I enjoyed it very much. The pretzel was good. My wife and I disagree on whether it tasted a little overdone. The cheese was good. The fried pickles were good. Whole dill spears. Not tongue searingly hot thank goodness. They were just what you want, hot but not going to burn you. Staff was nice and friendly, they were able to give a recommendation on one additional beer for our beer flight. Final recommendation - Come here, order the Berry White, and a pretzel. . . and another Berry White. Then head next door and get it in cans. We will be back!

It really seems like the pandemic killed the kitchen here. The food used to be pretty good, but I can't recommend the food here anymore. The tacos are probably the best item on the menu, not sure if they're going to bring back Taco Wednesday's or not, but that may be their saving grace. Their menu is just a bare skeleton of what it used to be. Tried the brisket bahn mi recently, and it was basically brisket with soy sauce in the marinade. Nothing about it was Vietnamese, just soy sauce, and it was not tasty. Took over an hour to get two bland, lackluster sandwiches delivered. The beer here has always been great, but it's sad to see the state of the kitchen decline over the past year or so. Probably will not come back.

Charming spot in downtown Reno that offers a solid selection of local craft beers, good food menu items and very solid prices for what you get. We came on a football Sunday and it wasn’t crazy crowded (was cold but there is TONS of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice), and we’re served promptly and efficiently at the bar. Had some BC brews and their brownie dessert, all of which were tasty. Bartenders even dressed up in funny Halloween costumes, and their was a very warm, “Cheers”-esque vibe this particular day with lots of laughs and camaraderie. Will certainly go back when friends are in town!

Went for a date, were seated. Water/host was prompt, but the waiter took quite a while to come check in (way longer than it should have been given the lack of busyness of the place). This trend continued throughout our time there. Not a huge deal, considering we weren't ordering much, but checkins should've been a lot more regular.

Then when we asked to pay the bill (literally watched four waitresses talk behind the bar for close to ten minutes, while trying to get some attention without being rude- looking that direction etc), when someone finally came over, we were told that POS was down, so we couldn't pay with card... And had to remind them what we ordered, because apparently it wasn't written down anywhere. Come to find out. It's been that way since we got there, but of course, we were not told before we ordered (felt bad for the wait staff, because this was probably a management decision, but bad form imho). We were told we could use the ATM (with a $3.25 charge, in addition to whatever my bank now decides to charge me). Staff was not really apologetic at all, no offer of a discount or anything along those lines. Very disappointing.

Lack of transparency, forward thinking, and customer service means we'll probably not be back again. I'm a local and met my wife here way back in the day, so not some snooty newcomer. Location unfortunately now seems to follow the Midtown trend of lack of customer service and higher prices for a...

Food was alright but the service was HORRIBLE at every step from the moment we stopped in. We should have know, as we were walking up a family was leaving and talking about how horrible the manager was. He was “helping” seat and serve patrons but was inept, flippant, and unprofessional. Promised us a 5 minute wait, then after 10 he walked out and asked us to sit somewhere else (outside in the cold and around the corner where I didn’t see wait staff go once to help the people already seated there) when I said we’d rather sit at least on the sun he turned and walking away said it “would be awhile then” I had to stop him and have him explain what “awhile” meant. When seated we had to ask for everything, even utensils, and when I ordered a beer the manager couldn’t find he came out and said “I don’t think we have that one, I think we have something else fruity if you want” but he couldn’t even tell me what they were and looked as if I was being rude when I didn’t choose one of those so accurately described choices 😂 I then had to wait 15 minutes for the beer I did order because he forgot to put the order in, when I asked for it the nice bartender finally ran it to me while the manager lounged on the counter. There was more but this is already long enough. Don’t trust a manager that wears sweats to work lol says how he...

I’ve been to The Brewers Cabinet more times than I can count, and every time, their food has been absolutely incredible. I’ve been dying to go back with my boyfriend for a special dinner.

Tonight, after a beautiful play where our young one (she’s the star!) wowed the crowd, we headed to the restaurant, excited to celebrate. We had purchased 3 Groupons for our group of 9. The Groupon clearly stated we could use 3 per person to celebrate. There were 3 separate groups within our party, so we requested separate checks. That’s when things took a turn.

The manager came over, insisting that their website only allowed 2 Groupons per person, despite us clearly showing it wasn’t stated on the site. We even asked if we could sit at 3 separate tables to make it work, but she refused to even consider it. The manager created an unbridgeable divide between us as customers and the restaurant—making no effort to work with us, just stonewalling us over a policy that wasn’t even clearly communicated.

Let me tell you, my entire perception of The Brewers Cabinet has changed. After tonight, our family will never return. In a corporate setting, sure, I could understand this kind of pushback, but in a restaurant where word of mouth is everything, this is completely unacceptable. Bad news spreads faster than good, and they’ve just lost...
