I have never had any event catered before so I was a little nervous when I called the Cheese Board to talked to them about catering. They really couldn’t have made the whole process easier.

All of my calls and emails were returned promptly and all of my questions were patiently answered by Krista. She gave great advice about what to order for the 50 people we had coming over for my husband’s birthday.

On the day of the even the food was delivered on time and in these great boxes that kept the food warm until guests arrived. These boxes were nice enough to serve the food in as well. We were supplied with serving ware and given ideas about how to arrange food along our table to make it look charming.

Not only was the service great, but also the food was amazing. All night long people raved about the food and asked us where it came from.

Really the whole experience was great. If I ever have another event catered, the Cheese Board will be the first...

I usually stop by The Cheeses Board once or twice a week and love the food but hate the lack of consistency.

I usually order a charcuterie board sometime I'll get a nice board or sometimes it looks like they took leftovers and threw them together and to fill the voides they just add crackers.

This last order they did such a sloppy job they just threw pieces of bread, crackers and anything they had left over, had a mix of 4 different breads and cracker pieces. Bread was old, sad to say most of it was trash. I guess they found it more convenient to give me the trash so I can throw it away for them. I paid them $30 for food they probably planned on throwing away.

I'm kinda at a 50/50 if I return.

I recommend the Cheeses Board but if you do go be ready to possibly be taking home what they planned on throwing away. Or if you get lucky you might just get a great meal. Take the risk you...

Had dinner with friends during the first week Cheese Board was open until 7:00 pm during the week. They had their regular Lunch Menu as well as an Evening Menu and some wonderful specials. We had the Beet Salad, prepared Carpaccio, with some fresh micro greens and Goat cheese. We also had the Bruschetta Sampler, one with Mozzarella and tomato, one with the most delicious ham and cheese and the third with a thinly sliced beef and cheese. All so fresh and flavorful, I was transported to the Coast of Capri. You still need to order at the counter and the staff brings your food to your table. Went again with out of town family and again everything was exceptional. The Macaroni and Cheese, the Angel Hair Pasta with fresh tomato sauce and terrific desserts, everyone was happy, even the 3...

Everything I had ever hoped! I have been trying to come here for months, but I fell victim to their seemingly short hours every time. Well, I finally planned ahead, and it was well worth the wait! Incredibly friendly and sweet staff, delicious meals and desserts, and an excellent wine selection. A little odd that the cheese board at The Cheese Board didn't come on a cheese board, but the flavors and variety made up for that oddity quick. And I can't be too selfish about the shorter than average hours of operation; I met one of the two owners outside and she has two young kids who seem to enjoy her attention quite a bit. I guess I will have to compromise and only come back every Saturday I am in town between the hours of 11 and 4...forever.

What a great eatery to visit, and just a short little stroll from the river. I’m a flight attendant and we choose layovers just so we can grocery shop and eat at our favorite places. And yes I’ll come back just to visit The Cheese Board! The owners are so gracious and lovely. The treats are tasty and the food won’t disappoint. They taste all the wines they sell, so you know they’re curating the best selections for their customers. So that you don’t miss the opportunity to nosh and sip at The Cheese Board, please note that it’s only open from 11am-3:30pm. This eatery is just one of many reasons why you don’t need to be a gambler to visit this darling city!
