Personally I'm not a fan of Jimmy John's sandwiches. The bread is small and tough. The meat is never pushed back to the center where the crease is in the bread. Whenever I bite the sandwich it's just bread where they fold the sandwich. So it's half meat, vegetables and cheese. Then all the way down the crease side is just bread.
Plus, the last straw was when there was an issue with my online order. It said the food would be ready at 11:15. I bought all this food for after our business meeting which ended at 11:00. Thinking I can show up and pick it up and bring it back on time for people to have their lunch breaks from 11:30 to 12:00. When I arrived there at 11:15 my food order was not even started! In fact they told me that my food would not be ready for another hour and 15 minutes. Two female managers on duty we're very unprofessional. I tried to explain that there was a issue with ordering online. They just kept saying well on our end it says 12:15 for pick up. I had to be the professional one and say okay guys since you now know there's a problem with online ordering- time frames. Then please pass this information on to your superiors who can solve the problem. As I was leaving I heard one of the (shift) managers say if she knows it's going to be an hour late online then why not order it 1 hour earlier from now on?!? Another kid said what are we supposed to do about it? Very horrible customer service/ no help from management on duty and lack of professionalism.
Besides I prefer Subway -the bread is toasted warm, the cheese is melted, the Bacon's crispy but not hard as a rock I can go on...

Placed an order using the app. One hour after the order was confirmed received by the restaurant, I called to get a status on the order. The person who answered the phone,, sounded female, and told me the sandwich was heading out the door and it would be another 20 minutes. I said words to the effect, an 1:30 minutes for a sandwich. Response "welcome to the world of short staff, sir." No acknowledgement that I had been waiting for an hour and later conversation implied I was somehow at fault because I asked if someone could have provide me with a status update.
I get short staffing but tude was uncalled for. I am a customer seeking information on an order and you unload on me for asking why you are treating me in a manner that is inconsistent with your slogan/policy. Wrong answer.

Read more"Freaky SLOW, RUDE and DIRTY" I have been a loyal customer of Jimmy John's for years. The customer service and attitudes of the employees has always been really good. The Rainier Ave. location is the opposite of any of my previous Jimmy John's experiences. We waited 25 minutes in the drive through with only 2 cars in front of us. No big deal, figured maybe it was just one of those nights... When we got to the window, the girl was rude. We paid for our sandwiches and watched her handle cash with her gloves on and then immediately proceed to touch food equipment. GROSS! 5 minutes later a young man that was making the sandwiches came over and tried to charge us again. Never once did anyone say a simple "sorry for the wait"... I mean that's all I needed. When I asked them "Do you have the manager or the owner's contact information?", I was told they didn't.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION UNTIL MANAGEMENT CLEANS IT UP!
