Vince's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Renton

I just came back from your restaurant today. We went in to celebrate my new job. I have lived here in Renton for over 20 years and this was such a great place. Unfortunately I will not be returning. First the drink special today was mojitos. We ordered 2 and what we were served could not possibly be a mojito. It tasted like a margarita with a dash of rum. There was not a single piece of mint flake in either drink and it tasted extremely sour. We ordered veil parmesan and chicken parmesan. The meat in both dishes was paper thin and double breaded. It appeared that the the entree meats were dropped in a fryer. I am Italian and have made many chicken and veal parmesan and this would not have ever been something I would have served anyone. The breading was dark brown and had a terrible burnt after taste. If this is your idea of authentic Italian cooking then you need to fire your cook as well as your bar tender who has no idea what a mojito is. I couldn't eat the chicken but my husband ate his veal because he said he refused to waste a piece of veal. I've tried being patient with this place. I ordered a pizza 5 days ago for pick-up. When they brought it out to me I opened to check and see if it was cooked thoroughly and it wasn't. I asked them to stick it back in the oven and I got the dirty looks from the wait staff. Whatever. I got home opened the pizza box and found a little 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch what looked like a piece of grout from the floor on the pizza which was not there when I looked at it in the restaurant. It looked like it was deliberately put there. I went to VInces the next day with the rock to speak to them about it, no managers were around, so the girl I spoke to wrote a note to the managers Fred and Nancy, taped the rock to the paper and said Fred or Nancy will get back to me; and no one did. No apology-no nothing. I've been a regular with this place for over a year, and the attitude they have towards their customers needs a reprimanding; DESPERATELY. I don't what the problem is at Vinces but they don't care about their customers, their regulars, or the quality of their food. Now I long for the day I see this place closed for good. Absolutely disgusting! The tiny hard breadsticks served at the table were stale and old. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have bell peppers-Napoli and I just asked them to add pineapples to it and remove the mushrooms. They came back with Cheddar cheese on bread and old pineapples on top--no tomato sauce whatsoever. Not only did it hurt my stomach after, but there was this disgusting odor coming from the kitchen. My mom got food poisoning from this place and she only took one bite of their off smelling, off tasting chicken. The bill for my pizza was 17$and it was a medium, even little caesar's has tomato sauce on their pizza. I have never seen anyone ruin a pizza the way this place has and I'm not very picky. The waitress seemed like she had a bit of an attitude and I didn't even complain about my food despite my abdominal pain. Its a beautiful restaurant but they're trying to save money at the expense of people's health. I did pay for my food and they did get a tip but I sure as hell will never go here again.
