Stopped in and got sandwiches here in August 2025. It was right in downtown Rexburg which is this great small town area. It was a quiet afternoon and there were just a couple of people ahead of us in line. I loved the store front. It was so charming. The inside has this cute dinner feel to it with an actual soda fountain counter as soon as you walk in. We got in line and looked over the menu which had some great sandwich options. There were two young workers making food and there was another couple waiting for a completed catering order. I figured out what I wanted…turkey sandwich always but realized after ten minutes that we were still waiting. No worries we weren’t in a huge hurry or anything but… It took almost 25 minutes for them to take our order and another ten minutes for them to finish the order and for us to get out the door. Now…the food. We got home and tore into our sandwiches while they had all of the requested items in the sandwiches the bread was old and dried out, the turkey was mediocre, and the service was horrible. I’ve never been in any sandwich shop for almost 40 minutes without there being a major line of people. The two people working were absentminded and didn’t seem to give a rats pahtoot about paying attention to details. It’s not a place I would go back to knowing that this is the service that...
Read moreI love their sandwiches if you're fortunate enough to get fresh bread (it seems to be hit or miss on that front). However it always seems to take a ridiculous amount of time to get your sandwich. I honestly don't even understand. I'll give it to them that they slice the meat fresh and that takes longer than say, Subway, but that still doesn't account for how long it takes. I've been to other Port Of Subs locations in Utah and they don't have this problem, so it's clearly a location specific problem. So... Considering how long it always takes them to do their thing I decided to call in an order today. I called 3 different times over the course of 10 minutes and no one answered the phone. So, being the resourceful person I am, I decided to put in an online order. Went through the whole process and then hit "check out".... The system tells me they can't communicate with the Rexburg location. Seriously. I guess it's a testament to how much I like the product that I even bother at all with trying...
Read moreI'll start off with I have a deathly dairy allergy, my boss wanted to stop in for lunch and I searched up and found a very detailed allergy menu from the company, with all the main allergens and what had what and all of the ingredients, I thought maybe it would be okay, but the cheese and the meat were cut on the same Deli slicer fortunately, I didn't eat where it had been cut with the knife and my boss got a sandwich that had a lot of meat cut beforehand, which helped but still had a reaction due to cross-contamination, and I did need to take Benadryl for it, if it wasn't for that it would be a 5⭐️, I loved the sandwich, but I will try to steer clear to be safe, maybe in a few years but we'll see, just disappointed with how in-depth the allergy menu is, to not have a high standard in keeping the cross contamination from...
