I have been frequenting this location for about a year being that it is so close to my job. Recently I’ve dealt with a couple situations which left me with no desire to return. Firstly, a couple months back I ordered the gluten free banana muffin which was given to me in a state that was inedible. It was rock solid and I called to speak to a manager, seeking a refund for this muffin that was inedible, the management notified me that they would refund me at a later time and would give me a call back. This never happened. I still went back after this situation because mistakes happen. This time around I came with my toddler to get their hazelnut toast, my toddler does not like her fruits mixed in with her toast so I kindly asked to have it placed on the side which was denied. I did not make a big deal I simply told them to not give me any fruit. After 5 minutes of waiting at the window, the girl notified me that they made my daughter’s toast with bananas only and if i could take it as is. If I choose not to take the toast that she was handing me it would be extra wait. At this moment I requested a refund to which she went back on her word and stated the toast she had in hand actually was how I had requested to have it made. I felt she was doing this out of spite. Possibly because i didn’t leave a tip or maybe because she felt I was being difficult? Speaking from my experience of frequenting this establishment for over a year, the customer service from both employees and management is lacking whenever you ask for anything out of the norm. And, behave in a way I could best describe as passive aggressive. Hopefully this post can give management a push to train their employees better and improve how to deal with diverse situations that arise...

I’ve been a loyal visitor to this La La Land location for quite a while now, and while I genuinely love the brand, the vibe, and the mission — the operational issues at this location have become impossible to ignore.
Over time, I’ve noticed the drive-thru getting slower and slower. I understand a slight wait during busy times, but today’s experience was the final straw. I ordered something as simple as toast with peanut butter and some sliced fruit on top — nothing overly complicated — and it took over 20 minutes to prepare. I sat at the drive-thru window for 10 minutes without any communication from the staff. At one point, I honestly thought something had gone wrong inside.
This isn’t a one-off experience either. I’ve had this happen several times — it’s progressively worsened. While the coffee is usually served promptly, anything requiring even minimal preparation slows the entire system to a crawl. That’s not a freshness issue — that’s an operational problem.
As someone who has consulted in business and operations, I can say with confidence: this is a systems and flow issue. Great companies train their teams, define roles clearly, and build procedures around efficiency and consistency. There’s no reason toast with toppings should take longer to prepare than a full cooked breakfast — which, for the record, a friend made and ate while I was still in line.
La La Land is a brand I love and would even consider investing in. But I would have serious reservations about putting money into an operation that runs this inefficiently at the unit level. I hope the leadership takes this feedback to heart — because when the experience matches the concept, La La...

I've heard of LaLa Land Kind Coffee but never made it down to Dallas to try it. My first visit I veered from my regular almond milk latte & joyfully ordered the holiday s'mores latte. Chocolate drizzle inside the cup, your choice of milk, espresso & topped w/toasted marshmallow fluff, graham cracker crumbles & more chocolate drizzle.
It tasted AMAZING! I asked them to go light on the chocolate because I wanted to actually taste the espresso & other flavors instead of just sugar. It was made perfectly.
There's decent parking w/15min limit parking out front. They offer a walk up window or drive thru BIGGEST BUMMER is there is NO INSIDE. If you choose to sit outside there are maybe three tables with chairs. The vibe is definitely "get your drink to go".
The drive thru is good, but it backs up fast & speed is not the name of the game at La La Land coffee. They take their sweet time so you'll be in a line a while.
The app does allow you to order ahead and they finally started a rewards program (hooray!)
This place is BIG into matcha Prices are competitive to others The packaging is cute & everyone is so friendly! They have a few fun looking pastries & a lot of avocado toast options that are good.
My go to is an almond milk latte or an iced almond milk latte with coconut cloud - YES they offer a dairy free cloud option and it's SO GOOD!! The Chai, hot or iced is really tasty as well.
The La La Classic Avocado Toast comes with lemon zest & sometimes it's too much, but overall it's really tasty. My favorite is the almond croissant & my kids' favorite is the The Hazelnut Toast or the...
