Definitely one of the better managed La Madeleine bistros. Light crowd on a cold day was not the reason for the delightful experience. The staff were professional and friendly but not invasive. Good day for the signature dishes plus the popular pastries. Sadly, we saw several parfait items on the way but since we wanted to these to-go, we thought it best to order these on the way out. Naturally, Mr. Murphy paid a visit while we were dining and much to our dismay all the chocolate parfait had been sold and there was none for us to-go. Lesson learnt - grab as quickly as you can. Obviously there were many other excellent pastries for us to compensate for our mistake. Good solid experience here means it will become a regular pit stop for us. It is as French as faux Cajun is for those who haven't tasted the real stuff but we don't mind it at all (having had the genuine stuff in France). The same could be said for any other international cuisine. So we ignore country designator and simply enjoy La Madeleine food as it is offered.

We used to eat here all the time, but hadn’t been in a couple of years. We didn’t care for the renovations to the restaurant, it feels generic and is way too bright, lost the cozy French bistro feel from before. I was definitely disappointed by not being able to see the prep station for the salad and warm pastries anymore as my quiche lorraine tasted boiled, was water rubbery, and just not good. I much preferred the crisp heat lamp version from before. Soups were great, the spinach salad had too much dressing that had no flavor, tasted like just oil. Bread was fine but obviously preferred when it was self serve as it was a bit fresher. I went for a glass of water and it came out as lemonade, even pushing the water button. Service was good, which was the best part of the experience. I’ll go back for the soup but that’s about it - if the mushroom soup was served in jar like the tomato basil then this would be the way to go.

Consistently terrible with take out and they require you to return to the store to get credit for them giving you the incorrect order. Example (8/17/2020) We ordered 2 chicken pesto pastas and got 1) very small serving sizes and 2) no chicken. The cost per meal was $12 per meal. In addition we ordered scrambled eggs w our other meal and got over easy eggs. When I called (since we had already taken the food home to eat) to get a credit for the incorrect food (at least the chicken pesto pasta not having chicken ) they told me I had to return to the store to get a credit. So I had to make 2 round trips to their store to get the correct meal for the correct price. I’ll choose another place to eat from now on. If you’re eating there they have average service but if you’re looking for a good take out place keeping looking or find another la Madeleine

Poor service. I have been eating at this location over the past year. I like the food, but the service is most often poor. It is a busy establishment and they can't seem to handle the crowds. It has become the most poorest service I have ever seen. When you order for pickup, and follow the directions to send them a text message for pickup, it's often ignored and you have to go inside and wait in a line. They even cut their phones off from time to time so you cannot call them. The sandwich that I got today was not made properly and was very dry. It did not have all of the ingredients on it that it was supposed to have. I don't take "busy" as an excuse. I paid for the food and expect to get what I paid for. I watched a manager today be very rude to a lady who had a mistake on her order and a gentleman who ordered a coconut cake yesterday and paid for it showed up today waited about an hour only to find out they were out of coconut cake. I waited over an hour as well for my pick up order because they did not have directions for pick up communicated to customers. They were not following their normal pick up procedures. At this point absolutely loathe this place. The food is fair, but I've had a lot better. This establishment needs to take a lesson from Spot of Tea in Mobile Alabama. Spot of Tea not only has excellent food similar to the food of this franchise, but the service is impeccable for very large numbers of customers. I watched a lot of people give La Madeline a lot of grace today, but I'm tired of giving them grace. It is a busy restaurant -it's always busy so they need to learn how to handle it and treat people nicely. And they need to communicate to the customers instead of turning off their phones to run from...

I rather much like La Madeiline. Food, great. Atmosphere, great. But ,unfortunately for this La Madeline, service was mediocre, employees maintaining conversation even when noticing there is a customer waiting to give them there order, time wait for food was longer than it should have been, and I do not appreciate it when I see an employee carry food from the kitchen, in her palms( she did wear gloves) to an order sitting on the counter of the to go station in front of the customers, for me that was a bit unsafe carrying food around like that. You could notice that employees were taking their time with orders which is a bit annoying because customer want their food out as quick as possible. I ordered a chicken parisian duet with pasta and side salad. The pasta and salad were the first things out of course but the sandwich took approximately 15 to bring out even then when I checked the sandwich the chicken was cold on the outside but warm on the inside the placement of the chicken and cheese on top look as If they took scrapes from another sandwich and put it in the sandwich. And the toast was really dry and too toasted. Pasta... well not good but not bad either. This establishment should try to push there employees to move a bit quicker especially if the cafe is more than half full and to go orders are piling up. I'm sure the employees all have wonderful attitudes, but their time management from the orders to the customers should be a lot quicker. Personally, I will not be returning to that unit, but others if who are willing to wait a while and chat with...

It is a Friday afternoon and I placed an online order as a request from my husband who had been at home ill for the day. Once the order was placed I received a call that they did not have the product available to full the complete order. I made a substitute. When I got the the restaurant NONE of the order was ready - not even the two sandwiches I had ordered. But there were several workers standing around doing nothing, THEN when I received my order it did not include one of the items I had ordered online. I called the store and received numerous apologies and then the manager hung up on me. A few minutes later she called back once again apologizing saying she "dropped the phone". I am frustrated and angry at the service but there is something else corporate needs to address. The place was DIRTY. the floors both behind the counter and at the entrance were dirty, there was an trash can in the entrance that was overflowing and there were gnats flying around the bread - which was open, and also in the checkout counter area. This place has taken a nosedive downhill. I have been eating here over ten years and I have never seen it like this. This was just before the dinner rush and I experienced an unfilled order, dirty public areas, and employees standing around talking. No since of urgency in a location where if you stand in the street count at least 20 food establishments. I put my crepe down my garbage disposal and I will not...
